A popular choice
Not quite up there with Pants, which my daughter will recite long after the book goes away and gives us a good giggle. But still an amusing read.

Socks
The incomparable Nick Sharratt is back and, after the delights of Pants and More Pants , he now turns his attention to Socks. Well, why not? The illustrations and bright and cheerful and the book just asks to be read aloud. In a world populated by sock shaped hippocockamuses, sockatoos and even a Sock Ness monster, the rhyming text is a joy. "Sockywockydoodah! By our little sockmarine there's a socktopus, a mersock and a sockshark looking MEAN!" An ideal book for the 2-5 age group and I am certain this will be read again and again in our house.

A winner
Maybe its the simple but spot on rhymes or the slight mystery of the everyday objects with slightly different, this book has been a regular reading request for my 21 year old month.
