Extremely effective! It works as described.

This was my first experience with a clear coat blender and it seems to work well. I've done lots of auto paint touch up work over the years and always had to deal with overspray in the areas I had to blend. This works well enough that it eliminates all or most of the buff out work you have to do to blend the new and old painted areas. And it dries to a nice, shiny gloss. Since virtually all of the automotive finishes now have a clear coat, this is great stuff to have when it comes time to do touch up work.

It works ok but don’t let it dry. Rub it lightly with a dry cloth to smooth it kind of together and then it looks great.

Let me start by saying although I have done paint work before I have never used a clear coat blender. The paint on the top of my truck fenders had faded. I used a rattle can base coat and a rattle can 1k clear. I painted and cleared the top 3 inches of the fenders and followed it up with the spot blender where the old and new clear met. I was skeptical but it really works. It’s hard to believe this product will “melt” the old and new clear together to a seamless finish. After drying I came back, wet sanded and buffed the area and it looks like a factory finish. So if your doing a spot repair on your vehicles paint this is a must have.
