Poor quality of shade, the frame was good.
After one year it shredded to a pile of trash.

Not worth the purchase
Not worth the purchase. Bottom snapped on 2nd day, had to get an attachment for the bottom (see 2nd picture). Then today the middle connector came unglued (see 1st picture). It is holding up for now but would not buy this again nor recommend for anyone else. It’s perfect for a non windy beach day but on a windy day this does not hang well.

Great beach umbrella
Used it Memorial weekend and the sand was hard and it was very windy. It was easy to put into the sand with the handy lever handles to twist it into the ground securely. It also held up to high winds very well. All in all, it was a good product at this price point. Would recommend.

Worth the price, good size, easy to carry.
This is a pretty good umbrella, I like the size and colors. I also like the ease of tilting it and taking the top part off quickly in the case of wind, and for easy take down. The parts I don't like are the plastic fold down handles that are meant to help you twist the umbrella pole into the sand. They feel like they are going to break from just a slight amount of pressure. So far, we've only placed it twice, because we are using it in the back yard for our children to have shade over their play house. The handles are fine so far, but we were very careful. Also, the button that you press to tilt the umbrella has very rough edges. It's worth noting that I'm using it in regular dirt/grass and it's meant to be a beach umbrella. I'd imagine that the plastic handles would be easier to use without breaking off you were using it on the beach.

Seems to work well and is sturdy
Has worked well the four or five times I have used it. It is light enough for me to carry easily and the sand anchor seems to work well (though I did cover the handles with tape to keep the sharp edges from cutting me). The wind has been light at the beach. Am not sure how well it will work in a stiff breeze.

Center piece holding top and bottom rod together is cheaply made and easily comes apart.
It was easy to assemble...but the center piece which connects the umbrella (top) to the bottom rod it'd cheaply made. No mater hiw much we tightened the center piece to prevent it from coming apart. Any time it was windy or even if you pulled after tightening the top and bottom would come apart. The umbrella was in the sand and the bottom rod/screw never came out of the sand. But the top umbrella rod came off multiple times. After oir first trip my husband drilled a screw to keep the umbrella intact even on a windy day.

Good quality
We had great luck with this umbrella this last weekend at the beach. We used it a total of 5 days and 2 of the days were really windy and we had no issues with it flipping inside out or bending a way it wasn’t designed to do so. It is light weight and easy to carry. I like that it has little foldout handles that allow you to screw it into the sand- helpful!

A Metronome in the Wind
This umbrella outwardly looks very nice. Easy to drill into the sand, pop the canopy on, open it up, enjoy some shade. Unfortunately that's not the case with mine. First use of this umbrella was on a beach in the breeze. Not a strong breeze, only about 7-9 mph, but an ocean breeze regardless. Base pole was screwed into the sand, umbrella was placed on the pole and tightened down, I sat down to enjoy my view, and this thing did nothing but vibrate back and forth like a flippin metronome. It was rocking bad enough that it was working it's way out of the sand. I tried to pack wet sand around the bottom of it, but it didn't work. It just swayed back and forth in defiance of my efforts, kinda the way your significant other's head does when you're being lectured. I eventually parked my chair next to the pole and held onto it for the remainder of my day. The second time we went to the beach, the same thing happened, this time with less of a breeze... Tick, tock, tick tock, back and forth like a bag of chips between 2 kids. Topping this off, the umbrella section suddenly decided to become airborne and Mary Poppins it's way up out of the bottom pole. I figured I had the knob tight enough to not let that happen, but it wasn't tight or worked loose in the back and forth swaying. I didn't want to crank on the knob too much for fear of breaking it. The canopy didn't get far and I managed to grab it and get it folded before something worse happened. I have yet to see an ocean beach without a breeze, so this umbrella is worthless to me. There were other umbrellas on the beach that didn't have that these problems, so I guess I'll have to invest in something that is tolerant of a breeze, unlike this item. Money well spent, lesson learned.
