It fits well and is long enough just as in the photo (I'm 5'9") and has a belt pull that draws the waist in. I intend to keep it in the nice little travel bag that comes with and keep it in my briefcase with a small umbrella. I like the larger hood since I usually have my hands full with something and don't always have the ability to carry an umbrella. The only trouble I have with it is that it arrived so tragically wrinkled that I'm not sure I know how to get the wrinkles out. I don't really relish the idea of wandering around town in a coat that looks like a thousand people slept on it for a month. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thin but waterproof - glad i read reviews first *by L***E on Reviewed in the United States on February 14, 2019* The reviews were helpful because they provided more details about just how thin the coat is. It truly is more like a fitted poncho - but it's waterproof! I don't find it particularly flattering, though it does have a drawstring at waste and hood - which I wanted. And I really like the length. I've tested it out the past couple days in the high 40s and rain. With a sweater underneath and gloves, I was just fine. It was super wrinkly when I got it. They're relaxing some but I don't think it will ever look like the photo. Overall pleased with it, and the reviews helped manage my expectations. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lightweight, inexpensive raincoat for travel *by S***S on Reviewed in the United States on May 8, 2016* I needed a lightweight emergency raincoat for a trip that would work, but was inexpensive incase I never have to use it. After reading other reviews, I bought a large so I could wear it over a sweater or light jacket. I usually wear medium to large, depending on the item. So, without any outerwear, it would have lots of room. All the seams have been sealed. I haven't gotten to test out how well it works in rain or wind, but it is just what I was looking for. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/121308652-cloudnine-umbrellas-shaynecoat-raincoat-for-women-black-and-gold](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/121308652-cloudnine-umbrellas-shaynecoat-raincoat-for-women-black-and-gold) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
