Q: 1. How long do they stay in?

If you put them in correctly, they will last for 2 or 3 weeks. I usually put quite a few strands in so if a few fall out, it's not very noticeable. I've had some stay in for more than a month before! Definitely worth it!

Q: Do you need additional tools that are not included in this kit?

No need for tools. You can just tie straight to your hair without a bead with tour fingers. Look on YouTube for videos. It’s much easier to do without tools.
