This is doing a good job of keeping the birds off our porch lights -- they are flat on top and the birds think it is a great place to build a swallow's nest -- they avoid it now. I had one pair that landed on the netting and decide it was not going to harm them so I wadded up a piece of aluminum foil and put under the netting to give it some body and they have not come back.
