Key terms are always in blue in the main text and the definition is at the bottom of the page like a footnote - there if you need it, out of the way if you don't. Informational extras and tables are color coded and easy to find. So far it looks very thorough but an easy read. I have had textbooks that didn't have the key terms in the index but had seemingly irrelevant topics listed, but this book has a very thorough index which is a plus! Also, it is very modern and clean looking.
