Very comprehensive guide
Okay so I definitely bought the 3DS just because Nintendo decided to remake Ocarina of Time. Needless to say anymore about that, i will mention that this was one of my favorite games to play when I was younger. I Actually still have two excellent condition guides from the N64 edition of this game. 1st I have the BRADYGAMES Official strategy guide and second I have the Official Nintendo Player's guide. This new Ocarina of Time game guide created by Prima is amazing. It is so much more comprehensive of the entire game than either of the other two books. There are no details left out, the people at Prima definitely spent a lot of time orchestrating this book. The maps are all clearly and accurately marked so that you can find anything you are looking for whether it be a gold skulltulas, a heart-piece, or just a treasure chest in a dungeon. The older books that I have are each lacking in their maps and side-quests. Not to mention that the older books don't even cover the Master's quest found on the 3DS edition of this game. In addition to that the older books don't have nearly as much information about finding items and collecting skulltulas, or how to make your way through the temples. Plus the button system to play the songs for the ocarina are completely different. Clearly the strategy guides that are made today are quite a bit better than the older ones.I bet if you wanted to you can look around on the internet and find all of this information for free, but it wouldn't be as well organized and you would probably end up having to use multiple sources, which when I'm playing a game i find to be a pain in the butt. This book has an excellent table of contents right in the front that will direct you to find whatever you're currently looking for. The guide basically has a step by step strategy you could just read along and do exactly what it says or you can find your way through the castle and when you get stuck just find where you are at and read the book. The guide has mini small paragraph by paragraph explanations that assist you along the way, that can easily be skipped if you want to.So basically if you're wanting to have a comprehensive guide of this game, in a neat, well organized, colorful book then I would definitely recommend this Strategy guide. It's not too expensive either. This book is packed with useful data in a well organized fashion. So if you are like me and you enjoy having a nice strategy guide book then I would recommend getting this one.

A good book for getting you through the game... A bad one if you want to get everything.
This book is mostly able to do what it claims. It will hold your hand through the adventure, and technically includes everything it says it does. However, this guide is lacking in some ways from what it could be. I never read the original guide to the N64 classic, but while some of the easter eggs in the game are mentioned as you read, not all are, and you can easily miss certain items. I have already beaten this game, and I was trying to play through at 100%. I bought the guide specifically for the purpose of getting that 100%, but when I reached a certain point in the guide, the writer comments that I should have collected 50 of the Gold Skulltullas; in fact, I only had 30. Without a dedicated list in the main body of the text, I had missed many... Near the end of the Main Quest guide, I found that there was a checklist for these items- a checklist organized by area, rather than finding order. In the end, I decided to wait and try to 100% the Master Quest, which is also included in the guide, since I was so far along and could not figure out which tokens I did have versus which I did not. While this does not inherently irk me, isn't the point of the guide to help you do these things on the first try? In that respect, this player's guide failed. I have used many such guides in the past and never encountered this problem, which is why I only give the book at 3/5. Also, one minor note- the page numbers are in the middle of the pages, surrounded by flowery patterns. While this is another "adjustment" thing, why would the publishers feel the need to embellish something as inconsequential as page numbers? ...The guide does its basic job, getting you through the game, but if you're trying to get through in style, you'll have to either know what you're doing before you start or go online for the same information.

disappointed overall
worse condition than i expected and no bonus poster. pages were yellowed there were creases as well. also stickers on the back which i personally hate. disappointed overall the description was generic instead of being relevant to this particular item and was overpriced for what it is.

Link's Aid
It is no question that The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time 3D is one of the hottest games out there right now. But for every Zelda game out there, you honestly can't beat the game unless there is a guide that can help your mind through it with the best of ease. That handles mostly well with The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time 3D guide. This guide handles well at assisting you in every way from finding rupees to purchases quest-challenged items like light arrows, which can shock and damage Ganondorf, to detailed maps and the right notes for each song to play through the ocarina for each path and task to master throughout the game. It is a great buy, and honestly a better strategy guide from a third-party company. Since Nintendo did stop making guides for their games and let the work be done by Prima, they have had some shaky guides. However, this one is a clear-cut winner for the 3DS.Price: BMaps: B 1/2-Overall: B

Wichtige Dinge fehlen
Ein Lösungsbuch sollte eigentlich Lösungen für alles im Spiel beinhalten. Leider fehlen essentielle Dinge wie z.B. wie öffne ich welches Versteck.
