I have not used it as much as I hoped. Shortly after getting it, I packed up and moved. It sat in storage for 3 years. When I dig it out to use it, I found it still running in the box. Obviously, it was slightly out of time and date considering running in storage. As soon as I pressed the light button and it started flashing and beeping, it's final act I guess as it was too weak to respond. My only thought was the instructions should have something about how to change the battery. Got the battery changed and its working perfectly again. Awesome product.

Perfect for timing our high school track star! Great for helping her get her lap times down. It's so easy to use, the battery lasts a long time. Very accurate. We have dropped it a few times and it is very durabile. Worth every penny I paid for it.

It looks great and feels great in hand. But I find it ridiculously complicated to get and keep in the right mode for use as a simple stopwatch. Tech-savvy 52-year-old professor here Inevitably, it beeps and beeps as I fiddle with the button while someone is waiting. I give up. I'll open a browser tab (google "stopwatch") or use my phone. If you surmount the fraught user experience design, it's a nice timepiece.

This is a perfect stopwatch. I record voice actors all day, and just wanted a heavier more solid watch. This is all of that. The backlight is not nearly as bright as the images would have you believe. And it doesn’t stay in long enough to matter. It’s momentary. Also, my particular stop watch came new in a box- but clearly has been used. The scuffs and scratches on the face look like it was used a while before coming to me. I don’t mind much- but it would be nice if was shiny and new!

As a strength and conditioning coach it is important to have things run in a timely manner and to also have the stop watch in hand in case things need to kept on a time crunch or for timing the athletes for specific drills. After using the timer for 2 months I went to pull it out of my work bag, that is very cushioned and secure because it is also the bag I keep my work laptop inside as well, and saw that the entire face of the timer was blank and no numbers appeared even after pressing and holding buttons. you can't tell me that it's the battery because it's ONLY been in use for 2 months!!! Terrible product quality...DON'T PURCHASE THIS TIMER!!!

The stopwatch is solidly built and easy to use. I had problems with the backlight with my first purchase of this item as it stopped working after only a week. The seller promptly responded to my message and provided a replacement which has been working great. If you are in need of a well built stopwatch with a backlight I would definitely recommend this product now.

Just like a lot of others, I thought the screen was permanently scratched. Turns out there is a peel-off plastic screen protector on the face. It is just hard to see that it is there. When peeled off it was left with a nice scratch-free face. I have been using it for a few days now and everything seems to be working great. It was very easy to follow the directions and turn the beep off, figure out the countdown timer, and set the clock. It only has a 24hr clock, but it's not so bad. You get used to it fast. The time has remained accurate since I set it. I am very impressed with it at this point.Update: Seven months later and this stopwatch still works like the day I bought it. I use it almost every day and it still has the original battery. No scratches as well. Even the face is still in like-new condition. I highly recommend it.

I posted a 3 star before because this product came to me clearly used with scratches on the face.. Not a big deal but after I posted the rating I was contacted by the owners who offered to give me another one or refund my money back by 50%. I wanted to give a new rating if 5 stars because customer service is BIG with me and I appreciated the response! And I do like the watch! It is perfect for what i need it for. If only the light would stay on a little longer. ;)

It’s a nice stopwatch, however the battery does not appear that it can be changed out…After spending this amount it is a shame that the battery is not able to be replaced easily.

It does not look like the pictures at all. I chose this specifically for the pictured type of buttons-- but they are not like like that at all. I find them difficult to press. It's almost like you have to push the button down, wait for a (sort of) click, then keep pushing it down before it starts. The first click is misleading-- it feels like a click but doesn't start it. I foresee that going awry for my precise counts. It also arrived a little scratched on the front. No protective peel or anything-- clearly a used watch. Silent mode works well, though. It's also very heavy. It's a metal stopwatch of course, but I own a few metal stopwatches and it's definitely noticeably heavier than the others, if that matters to you.
