I took a break from gel nails I had been doing for 10+ years, but didn’t want to leave my nails without at least some type of protection. I found this and after looking at reviews decided to try it. I loved the clear glaze it gave and the strength it gave to my nails. I would highly recommend this if for nothing else but to strength your nails. I thought it was very effective.

I’ve been using Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Nail Hardener (0.45 fl oz) for a few weeks, and it’s quickly become a staple in my nail kit. The clear coat goes on smoothly and dries to a glossy finish—my nails look polished and healthy even before applying color. After every use, my nails have felt noticeably stronger and more resilient.What really stands out is how it helps prevent splitting and peeling. I work with my hands often, and since starting this treatment, my nails rarely show wear or damage. A small bottle lasts a long time, and it’s easy to add between manicures or wear alone. For anyone battling weak, brittle nails, this hardener delivers noticeable strength without being stiff or thick.

I used a harsh chemical without rubber gloves and destroyed my natural fingernails. They have been peeling off in layers for months. This seems to stop it so far and they appear to be healing. It’s going to take a few months before my nails grow out. It looks nice and it’s easy to apply and like I said, I’m very impressed so far.

Not as hard as nails as described. The polish easily washes off during rehular hand washing. I'm disappointed with this purchase.

I thought my once-strong nails were a victim of my age, but it turns out that if I use Diamond Strength and take a little more care with water and detergent, I can grow my nails just as well as when I was young. It looks nice, too.This is the only product, whether drugstore or stupidly expensive, that clearly improves the quality and strength of my nails and protects them more than I deserve, given the way I forget to use gloves for cleaning. There's a big difference in my nails when I use it vs not.It goes on easily, despite the uniformly terrible quality of the brushes in Sally Hansen products. It dries very fast, and doesn't chip -- in tends to eventually wear off the tips.I have pretty significant ridges and three coats makes them invisible, and really protects my nails, too. But even a single coat really improves the look of my nails.
