Kid Basix New Wave Enviro Products Stainless Steel Safe Sporter Water Bottle Orange - 16 oz.

I have searched high and low for an easy to use, non-leaky, stainless steel water bottle for my preschooler. I'd hoped this bottle would fit the bill, and it almost does, yet not quite. First the pros: The body of the bottle is made of quality steel with a soft rubber grip. The body doesn't show any discoloration or signs of wear after 3 months of almost everyday use. The soft pull spout is easy for my 4-year old to use and the bottle is very attractive to look at. The cons: My main issue with this bottle is its plastic top. The top feels flimsy compared to the rest of the bottle. In fact within the first month of use, a small piece of the lid had chipped off. The top is connected to the bottle with a single plastic hinge which I fear will give way any day. Another issue is leakage. After regular use the pull spout becomes a little loose and doesn't fit snugly into its base. This causes the bottle to leak. I have to push the spout down firmly with my fingers to make it fit snugly. Even that doesn't always ensure a leak free ride to the school. Overall, this bottle is one of best stainless steel bottles I have found that is easy for a small child to use. I have used Sigg kids bottles in the past which my son found very hard to use without help. This is definitely an improvement over those. If Kid Basix would make a sturdier bottle top and fix the leaky spouts, this would be the perfect kids water bottle.

I bought this water bottle hoping that it provide my child with cold water during the school day. I filled it up and sent him to school with it, and when I picked him up in the afternoon the water bottle and its contents were HOT!! TOO HOT for a little mouth to drink. I am so disappointed. I fill it up at night and freeze the water inside so that it stays cool most of the day - but the outside sweats like crazy which makes it slippery for him to hold..I am looking for a replacement - and will probably keep this one at home once I find one that works..

Excellent water bottle. I bought one for myself after buying one for my daughter for school. Hers has lasted over a year at preschool where every other child who started with another brand of steel bottle switched out to plastic after a few months! The other brands were beat up and were not able to stand anymore. This design has a plastic insert on the bottom so that doesn't happen. It also has a nice silicon holder for easy gripping. The top works well but it did get grungy after a year. We were able to buy another lid through the website to start the new school year. The cap stays on so that the mouth piece is protected from getting dirty. The only issue for me is that the lid can get in the way of drinking unless you hold it correctly; but this is easily resolved.

Really need to contact seller, kids love these but the tops keep breaking

The cap broke off the second day my kindergartner took it to school. It's still usable because it snaps on.

This is the second bottle I received in this colour as 1st one was leaking and so is this one from the spout, no way of contacting the company only had this bottle just over a year.

la borraccia in acciao risponde perfettamente alla descrizione del prodotto. io ne ho prese due per i miei figli, per eliminare quelle in plastica che a lungo andare puzzavano. queste sono molto pratiche, si lavano facilmente con acqua e sapone.resistenti alle cadute, l'unica "pecca" che le posso trovare è il tappo trasparente superiore, per un bambino è un po' difficoltoso aprirlo, ma abbiamo risolto togliendolo.già consigliato ad amici, lo consiglio vivamente.

Ho cercato per parecchio tempo una borraccia per mio figlio ma nessuna corrispondeva alle mie esigenze : tappo protettivo per il beccuccio , beccuccio e non foro e non di plastica.Questa borraccia è perfetta per le mie esigenze. Non sono sicura di quanto durerà il tappo protettivo ma magari esiste come pezzo di ricambio.Quello che mi soddisfa maggiormente è il fatto che è totalmente inodore.Non mi sono ancora osata a darla a scuola a mio figlio perchè ho paura che non chiudendola bene possa allagare i libri.
