Can you see the backing when shaven?

No but I guess it depends on how short you shave it. It kept mine a good inch long. If you shave it like velvet you would see it but my backing was the same color as the fur so I don’t think it would be a problem unless different colors have different backing.

How many yards do you get for $29.99?

You get one (1) yard of this fabric which is 36 inches. So it will be 36"X60 for $29.99

Can I get this in continuous yardage?

I believe so. I only bought one yard, but It is not cut into squares like some - it is sold by the yard like fabric.

Are they cut on half yards or can it be a 1.5 yard without cut?

Hello, those are pre cut half yards , it will not be continuous. Thank you FabricLA Team
