Anyone who needs this product is probably not happy to begin with. Grey water is usually involved ....The original lasted well over 10 years and I hope to get another 10 from this one. Product arrive a day early and in great condition. Replacement was a snap and it works like a charm.

Exact fit for what I needed

Nobody ends up on this product page by accident. This isn't a neat gadget or cool doodad that goes on sale for Prime day and everyone raves about. If you're here, you're probably a homeowner who is trying to figure out if this is the correct replacement for the thing you've got in your basement, as said thing (that you've really never paid any mind to before the last week or so) is now leaking stink-water.I am happy to report that this thing was exactly the thing I needed to stop the leak. The previous valve had been there for about two decades. I have included a photo of the old valve if you're like me and want positive confirmation. They no longer stamp the same part number on the top and the rubber sleeves changed slightly, but other than that, it's the same thing as it was decades ago when the only leaky sewage water you came into contact with was the Backstreet Boys.

This came installed in my house when it was new. Failed after about 10 years (flap inside failed). Not bad. Bought this one from Amazon and it works great. Maybe a bit more expensive than others but worth it.

A full port check valve which seals the discharge port on a sewage ejector pump. If you've ever installed an ejector pump then you know the importance of a quality check valve to keep the effluent from flowing back into the sump and short cycling the pump. This Zoeller 2" check works like a champ. No backflow and no sticking. Very happy with the product.
