Better than expected
I've lived in Russia where buying these candies was easy and cheap, and they were always fresh and delicious. I was hesitant to buy some from the internet but I decided to give these a try. I am glad I did. They are fresh and taste just like they should. I would say they do need to be packaged for shipping better. More padding and perhaps in a food grade reflective package so that they do not soften or melt. Mine were a little soft from the heat.

Not fresh and squished
Do not recomend you buy batonchik from here. They are not fresh and they crumble (rather than their usual softness and creaminess). They came all squished and no longer in a cylinder shape, even though they arrived with lots of bubble wrap.Had high expectations (as they are cheaper here than in my local Russian store), and I am disappointed.

Arrived damaged.
Box with candies was significantly damaged. Candies inside were mashed up.But overall taste is great even despite the obviously low-quality ingredients.
