8mm, 10mm, 12mm, and 20mm Diameter Bearing Rod for Linear Motion, Custom Cut Length, Hardened Steel Chrome Plated (10mm Dia / 501mm - 750mm)

I ordered the 20mm rod just under 1m in length. This is nice hard, chromed shafting. I mic'd it out and it was perfect, though I did not go crazy measuring the rods, they work very well with my LM20UU long bearings. I really like the cut to length option. The ends are not turned, but arrived nicely cut with what looks like a cooled (no heat discoloration) abbrasive saw. The ends are very nicely beveled and there are no burs or sharp edges on the rods. I added a picture of the ends as cut, as I was very happy with the quality of the cut to length servicePackaging and shipping were excellent and nicely protected the rods from the abusive handling packages seem to see in shipping.

I needed to replace the bearing and axle shaft on an old bike trainer stand, and the original vendor has been out of business for 20 years. When I measured the old bearings and axle, they were stock metric sizes, and this rod matched up perfectly with new bearings. This is a quality product offered at an exceptionally good price.

Both rods were straight, smooth, and precise in length. Being able to order a custom length saved me a lot of time. Most 12MM rods are of some standard lengths, and require cutting to fit the project. Great buy, and nearly the same price as standard length rods of the same (near same) length.

I put these on a Prusa Tall Bear since I needed non-standard 422mm z-rods The rods are really very nice and meet the advertised specs. Having them cut to any desired length is a big plus. I also ordered their bearings but these weren't that good; too much slop allowed the extruder to twist a little bit on the x-axis and misalign prints. I would buy these again, just not their bearings

great quality rods custom cut and shipped out in no time at all. they measure perfect from end to end and even standard quality bearings run great on them. match them to a set of nippon bearings and you have a smooth and near stealthy setup.

These came exactly as ordered (cut to length). Fantastic product.

This is very hard material. If you intend on drilling holes you need to have very specific equipment. (EDM, diamond cutting drill, etc) Normal equipment is not going to work.

Bought these to replace my stock rods on my Anet A8 as the X and Y axis had become horribly noisy at printing speeds, with grinding and squealing, even after lubrication. These rods were a direct replacement, and after cleaning and relubing my stock bearings (the replacements I bought were trash), I have no more noisy X and Y axis. These appear to be hardened, which I guess the stock ones weren't and over time, started to get grooves and marring on the surface. I have about 40 hours or so on these so far, and still quiet, only time will tell if they last. Recommended!
