T-Power To The Rescue Again!
This adapter produces 9 volts of alternating current. It is perfectly quiet when I use it with my Alesis Microverb III unit, which requires 9V AC, and it is also perfectly quiet and reliable when I use it with my Ground Control MIDI Controller. It feels sold-- a suggestion of good build quality. When I go searching for power adapters I always seem to end up purchasing what I need from T-Power. Some time ago I was able to get an unusual power adapter for an inexpensive Chinese Android tablet. I could not find an adapter for it anywhere else but T-Power. T-Power helps the consumer and customer by indexing its products so they can be easily found. Often you will find a list of certain products that an adapter will work with.

Works with Midiverb II
The T-Power adapter works with the Alesis Midiverb II as advertised. I was a little concerned at first because the Midiverb needs a 9V AC voltage - that's what the T-Power is specified to be - but the labeling on the adapter indicates that its output is DC as shown by the familiar DC symbol of a solid line over three dashes. Anyway, it works, it got here on time and overall I'm satisfied.

My Microverb 4 works now, but the numbered display dims when you're playing sound through it. This is because the current supplied by the AC adapter isn't quite strong enough.

I have an Alesis Microverb and an Alesis Midiverb. Unfortunately the Midiverb power adapter got lost in a move, fortunately it's the same power adapter as the Microverb. I thought I would buy a second adapter, so I could use both units at the same time. Unfortunately this adapter is an all-in-one style, where you plug your choice of 4 adapter heads to the end of the adapter cable, then into your electronics (it is not specifically designed to fit the Alesis interface which is disappointing). I was hoping that this wouldn't mean that the tolerance on the fit would be off, but it was. For the price I was hoping to get something I wouldn't have to duct tape onto my Midiverb to keep it plugged in. The bottom line It works, but it's not reliable or pretty.

Label marked as 9VDC output It does have 9VAC output which is what I wanted, but had to re-label it to avoid confusion in future.
