there is no need to review the book, for it's times immemorial. this is a review of the cover. hardbound, bears richly detailed tanjore painting of Lord Skanda seated on peacock with his consorts. shimmering speckles scattered over the painting is mesmerizing and makes the smile on the Lord's benovelent countenance leap from the picture. it belongs in the pooja area.
