Review: Expensive and labor intensive, but I love it. - I bought this (or a very similar product) four years ago to test along my concrete driveway to keep the concrete edge separated from groundcovers and to make weed control easier. This original mulch strip met all my expectations and drastically cut maintenance along the driveway where it was installed, but I could not find it again until this year. I have installed 13 rolls so far this year and expect to use an additional 4 before I am finished. It has been a monster job as the driveway edge had to be cleared, roots removed, soil added and then the edges smoothed and the dirt packed by walking over and over it. I placed the mulch strip about 1/4" lower than the driveway. I bought contractor staples from desertcart which are far superior to anything I have seen previously and used a hammer to pound them into the ground. As with all projects, your results depend on proper preparation and installation. I expect to reap the rewards of this fairly expensive, labor intensive project for years - probably decades. Bonus - the strip is easy to pull up and make corrections if you have gotten it too high or low. I put a light layer of pine straw over the strip to blend it into the landscape.

**Q: Is it 120 feet or inches long?**
A: Hello, this is 120 inches long.

**Q: How thick is this?**
A: It's about an inch thick. Be aware that you need to tack it down every couple of feet - I used "staples" made of wire coat hangers. At first I didn't use enough staples and the mower sucked it up and chopped a piece out of it.

**Q: Could you notch it to form a circle or oval around tree?**
A: I suppose you could notch it, but it would take quite a few notches and I don't think the circle wouldn't be very "round". The garden mulch mat can be bent horizontally as shown in the picture, but only a bit. It's too stiff to be formed into a tighter circle without cutting.

**Q: I have rounded corners in my landscape. Does the mulch curve?**
A: As long as the curve isn't too sharp, it's fine. I use it on curves with no problem. I find this curves more easily than what I bought quite a few years ago.
