It helped my Cystic Acne! LOVE this soap!
I started using this soap (along with apricot scrub every other day and Mederma/Vitamin E oil mixed in with 3 drops of calamine lotion as follow up daily moisturizer) as part of my cystic acne problem that I recently developed. In the first 2 weeks or so, I developed the zit-alike pimples which pops up every night/day but they disappear in the morning or by end of the day. It was irritating and discouraging at first but as the package warns it is expected. But after 2 weeks, it helped my acne. I LOVE this soap, it smells great, it doesn't leave any residual soap film and makes my skin very smooth! It does make you feel little dried out but I follow up with rose water spray which I let it dry and then use the above mentioned oil-based moisturizer. I don't know if this is the product or the other products in my acne regimen, but my pores also shrunk dramatically. I stopped using all expensive acne products and replaced it with the soap, and my skin has gotten better, and is EXTREMELY CLEAR and has a nice supple glow!! Those of you who are suffering from severe cystic/hormonal acne, I know you would want to see the result ASAP, but patience is the key... I saw a "DRAMATIC" improvement in my skin within a month. It's been a 2 months now, and people are amazed by how amazing my skin has turned into. I ordered their turmeric soap that i am going to use next, to get rid of remaining of tough scars. It is an expensive soap but I cut it in to 6 small pieces and use 1 at a time to avoid wasting it or develop any bacteria around it. I used 1 piece in a month, so I am anticipating this soap to last for at least 5 months! I just ordered "Soap Sample Set" from their actual website which has all different types of soap that they sell. I would highly recommend using this soap for those of you who are in desperate need to rid the acne. Thank you Aspen Kay! Keep up the good work that you do for people, Don't change your formulas EVER! :)

Freaking AMAZING!!!
I ordered this soap (bar) for my ketosis pilaris (kp) after reading and reviewing the top 10 soaps for people with kp. OMG!!!!! LOVE - love everything about this bar of soap. I started using it on 10/22/19 & immediately saw a difference in my skin. The build layer of skin and residue from other soaps/lotions was immediately gone. My upper arms, where I have kp, felt softer and the rough bumpy skin was gone. I put my lotion on after using it in the shower and my skin actually absorbed the lotion (like it's supposed to)!!! I have used it on my face 1x/week and it's amazing! Three weeks now and the red bumps from kp are almost gone, my skin is soft and smooth, any residue build up is gone and my body's natural pH is back!!! I won't ever use anything else - absolutely work the price!!!! In one review someone broke the bar in 1/2. I also did break the bar in 1/2 to help it go further & I'm glad I did. The scent at first use/opening of the box was strong but not unpleasant. After 2 uses it faded and I haven't noticed the scent like I did. I feel it's a neutral scent for female or male. This isn't a "moisturizer" bar of soap, so you do need to use lotion after for moisturizing, but it allows your skin to absorb the lotion, like it truly supposed to. I have recommended this soap to a few other people & they have loved it!!! If you have kp, sensitive skin or want a soap to clear the residue, clean your skin and balance your natural pH, I wholeheartedly 100% recommended this soap & company! They have other soaps - check them out!!!

A Very Pleasant Surprise!!
After using a more expensive "luxury brand" Sea Mud soap, I wondered if I was paying for it's name and former reputation. Many reviewers were now complaining of its smaller size, ingredients (basically charcoal), and its price. I was tempted to try its competitor's algae soap, when research led me to this one. I was initially amazed at the price, then the fact that it's 100% natural and organic with nutrient-rich DEAD SEA MUD as a KEY ingredient, with activated charcoal coming in towards the end of the list. I purchased two bars, chancing my sensitive skin to an unknown. After the first two days of using it, I noticed my face itched a little with small bumps right beneath the surface. A well-sized zit appeared on the side of my nose as well!! I was ready to call it quits and return everything when I remembered a period of "adjustment" was to be expected. I used only water on my face for a few days and decided to give it another try. By this time, the zit was gone and afterward, there was no itching. By the next day of using it, my husband complimented my complexion as looking "buttery". I had noticed some smoothness and radiance, but I didn't want to get too excited too quickly. It wasn't until I noticed my HUSBAND'S complexion after he used the soap in his shaving cup. WOW!! His face looks smoother and more radiant, with a more even tone! I keep telling him that he looks younger! I appreciate the company's up-front explanation that this is no overnight sensation, but given a reasonable period of adjustment, you WILL see an amazing change in your complexion that does not cost an arm and a leg!! I first used it only in the morning, but now I use it twice a day and my face is clear, smooth and glowing. I not only recommend it, I am ready to buy a CASE of it!!

Good, but not great.
This is an excellent soap for sensitive skin that is great for both men and women; I bought it thinking it would be a super skin nourishing soap. My skin tends to dry out with cheaper soaps and must have a moisturizing lotion when I'm finished showering. I bought the Dead Sea Mud With Activated Charcoal (2 Pack) and have already showered with it 4x. I'm still showering with it every other day; however, despite being pleased with the efficacy of this soap, I would not write home about it. It's somewhat difficult to lather, and there's very little lather once you get enough of the soap onto your washcloth. Although I feel refreshed and nourished after my shower, I was expected somewhat more from this soap. For me, it just didn't fulfill what I was expecting especially for the price. If it were $1.50-2.00 cheaper per bar then it would be worth trying, but I still enjoy it for what it does for the body: clense, refresh, and mosituring. Although I would definitely recommend this product for soap connoisseurs or those looking for an all-natural soap with ingredients that replenish and assist the body with healing and provides a refreshed feeling after a long stressfull day. Give it a try. That being said, I will try other products from Aspen Kay Naturals as I believe they can produce a great product. A Men's line of products would be fantastic as I tend to gravitate toward a cedarwood, mirabelle, milk, orange/citrus types of scent when desiring soap products. Overall, keep up the fine work Aspen Kay Naturals.

It will make you give up your religious beliefs.
I have spent hundred and hundreds of dollars on skincare products for the face. I used Ivory soap for awhile and that was okay, I have combination skin, so it never got very bad but those annoying blackheads would always be on my nose, no matter what I did. Now, I donโt have a history of acne or breakouts, so when I saw the first week of having a few pimples where I had never gotten them before, I was alarmed, but I started strong. I knew that this was a detoxifying bar and was ridding my skin of impurities. I worked in a warehouse in 2010, I had a very bad mishap where Drano (lye) was spilled onto my skin, and I swear since that day my body has not been the same. It got everywhere, on my face, chest, legs, and arms. I am very happy to report that this is the best I have felt in a long time. This soap is fantastic, the best I have ever used, hands-down. Iโm trying to tell as many people as I can about it because it is phenomenal. It gives you a wonderful boost of confidence. I know it was lacking for years, as the anxiety of the blackheads on my nose would also make me nervous around people and I didnโt want to get too close so they would see them. It was rough, but I powered through. I want you to buy a couple bars, use one on your face and one on your body, they seem to last a while, sometimes two showers a day is my regimen and the bar for my face has lasted more than a few months and he one for my body will last maybe a month and a half. You donโt need many moisturizers afte using this soap, I use a little jojoba oil afterwards, but you do not need much. I really appreciate you taking the time to read my review of this life-changing soap. It is a product of most excellent quality, made with care, their customer service is impeccable and their great sense of consideration and concern captures the essence of what a great product should be. A product that presents great value, you know you are spending good money on it but it is so worth it because it helps you, and actually saves you money from trying so many products to finally find one thatโs right for you. It has been a pleasure, and may this soap be with us for a long time. Thank you, Aspen Naturals.

Good soap but not an ACNE soap
First off let me say I really did like this soap!!! It smells amazing and you feel so clean afterwards! But I have moderate to severe acne, so I was trying the whole "use natural products on your skin to help with acne" trend. Almost everything I use on my skin is natural no chemicals. My face wash is a vegetable tea tree bar of soap, my toner is 100% organic rose water, my moisturizer is coconut oil and my face masks are benzenite clay mixed with ACV. Unfortunately, my severe acne is due to genetics which is literally the worst because you can't do sh*t about it. I bought this soap in hopes of clearing my recent (terrribleeee) flare ups, but sadly it did nothing for them.:( Although it is a good soap and probably works well with people who have decent skin with only small flare ups every now and then, dont get your hopes up if you have moderate to severe acne. So sadly, I will be returning to accutane and chemical filled face washes bc they are the only things that work when you have persistent acne.

Better late than never... And just better.
I have had 'problem skin' since I was a teen, and have gone through multiple medical approaches from antibiotics through Accutane with painful side jaunts with Retinols, and have spent more money than I care to think about on products targeted for people like me - moderate to severe persistent acne, oily skin, T-zone troubles, etc. Athough some medications worked, the side effects did not make them long term solutions for me. All of them left me with dry, peeling, and unhealthy looking skin, all natural moisture whisked away, my skin parched but not noticeably clearer. I spent even more on foundation and coverup, but when you have pimples large enough to cast a shadow, there is only so much makeup can do. I saw this product and read the reviews and thought why not at least try it. I too had changed my diet, gone to natural whole foods, cut out sugary, processed products and sodas, and although my weight went down, sadly my acne outbreaks did not. I have been using this Dead Sea Mud soap bar for 10 days, and I am already seeing improvement in my skin texture and, well, topography. I still have pimples, but they are fewer and smaller than before, and are clearing up more quickly than I would have though possible. The experience of washing my face with this soap is almost luxurious, the lather is soft, silky and fragrant. It leaves my skin feeling a little dry, but unlike all the harsh cleansers, toners and exfoliating scrubs I have used in the past, not stripped. Even if I do not follow up with moisturizer, the dryness fades as my skin comes back into balance leaving my face feeling soft and looking better than it has in recent memory. Needless to say, I am recommending this to friends and family, and have the delightful task of going through every bathroom drawer and medicine chest and throwing out the many products that I have been using to combat my 'problem skin'.

A great investment!
I bought this to use as both a body bar for the shower and as a face soap- it works great as both! I have really sensitive skin to begin with, and not only is the soap gentle for me, it rinses off well, so you don't feel that gross soap-film feeling when you get out of the shower. I also find that my face stays fresher/less greasy for longer-- maybe for once I've found something that doesn't irritate my skin in some subtle way?-- so I don't have to use very much. I can see how people would think it's expensive when comparing it to a cheap bar of soap from the drugstore, but given that I don't have to buy a separate facial cleanser, I don't have to wash so often, I don't have to moisturize so much, and it just feels better when you can rinse it off thoroughly... it's well worth the cost. I admit I don't put a lot of stock into whether the ingredients are Organic or not, so this review is based just on my experience using the product. Tip: it is a soft bar, so if you keep it in the shower, I recommend cutting it into thirds and only keeping a third of the bar in the shower at a time; that way you won't lose the rest of the bar to water splashes over time. I do this myself, and having bought the bar about 3 months ago, I'm only halfway through it (and I share with my s/o). Additional note: There is coconut oil in the soap, and I've heard that for some people that causes issues. If you don't have allergies are bad reactions to coconut oil, I highly recommend giving this a try.
