"There be gold in them there balls!"
As a kid when these first came out, I had to have them. My mother surprised me Christmas morning that year with all six of these. She went to several Burger Kings in town to round them up before they were gone. I was blown away to say the least when I opened them. Unfortunately, quite a few years ago they were lost to a flooded basement and were THROWN AWAY among my collection of Pokemon cards and other things. That has left a bitter taste in my mouth ever since, and I am now rebuilding my collection of these bad boys, nostalgia coming on with every single one I open. I love these little beauties and they are probably the best thing that ever has or ever will come out of Burger King -or any fast food chain for that matter- bar none. If your reading this and can think of something that tops these or you have a similar story please, I would like to hear about it.

which appears in good condition, but NO certificate
Received 1 gold plated card, which appears in good condition, but NO certificate, NO pokeball and NO box?? Gift for my 8yr old, so will have to get creative packaging it for his bday since it came loose w some plastic.

Decent condition for a 25 year old BK toy
Seller was kind to tell me shipping was going to be later than expected. When it arrived, the box was in great condition. Pokéball was completely sealed but after opening it up there were very very minor scratches and the red finish wasn't even, most likely manufacturer defects. The Gold card itself is in decent condition but it looks as though it didn't remain enclosed in the case for the entirety of its life but yet again, I can't expect brand new, fresh off the factory line for a 25 year old Burger King toy. I'm super happy to have this!

Not worth the money if played with
“The toys are new in their sealed wrappers“ is what was advertised. Mine was not sealed, the plastic cover on the card was off, and the poke ball and card had what looks like dorito fingerprints all over. The poke ball is dirty and scuffed and appears to have been dropped. I only paid the $50 because I’ve had the rest of the set unopened and wanted to complete the set with another.
