Need bright light for reading, I get it. When I want my surroundings to be softened, I just turn the arm extension away and can relax without the bright light.

I love the light. The base was a little bigger than I thought (on my small end table) But I'm keeping it.

We tried to but a replacement bulb for a similar lamp but they didn’t fit, so bought a new lamp. So far so good. Gave old lamp to Goodwill.

Very Nice Lamp. Had to replace a 30 year old Bell and Howell lamp for our 99 year old Mother and after trying several lamps that didn't have the same lighting/brightness and clarity that she required, we found this lamp which looks identical to her old one and has the sufficient lighting that she needed. This is a home run for us. A+.... 5 Stars.

I use this as a grow light in the winter when I bring my plants in from the patio. My plants are thriving under its light. Since it's not LED it does get warm which I find to be a positive feature in the winter. My plants love it!

This lamp fits in perfectly. The light is just right and I appreciate the form and the heft of the light.

Great for my crafting projects

I liked the lamp quite a bit but the bulb burnt out after about 2 years of normal use and I cannot find a replacement. anything close to a replacement is about 30usd so I will toss the lamp into the landfill. I will only purchase lamps with some sort of standard bulbs in the future.
