All S17s on the market are refurbished. There are no new units. However, all the machines and hashboards are newly repaired with all new chips direct from Bitmain. So you should have years of use with no issues. If you purchase this week we are offering free upgrades to a 64Th machine.

The antminer miners can be used to mine bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency that uses the SHA256 hashing algorithm. Here is the list: https://www.coinlore.com/coins/sha256 All Bitmain miners have very limited manufacturers warranty. The warranty is only valid for 6 months after the original production date.

Thanks for your question. Basically every product sold on Amazon has a 30 day guarantee. Yes, it is possible to have it shipped in low power mode. Given your 1600 W capacity, you might be better off running BRAIINS firmware to control the wattage more closely, maxing out at 1300 W for the machine.
