I have adult hormonal cystic acne that is very difficult to deal with. This has been a huge help. It really does make a difference in getting the zits to both surface and go away— something very few things help with without irritating my skin further and making things worse. It’s gentle, but effective! And also it doesn’t stain my clothes or sheets. Which is a nice bonus. I’m so very happy to have had a friend recommend this!!

I’m not sure if I’m having a bad reaction because it’s not moisturizing enough for the winter? This dried up my painful maskne in a couple of days but I really really should have used an extra moisturizer AND not used it several days in a row. I think it’s probably an really great product if you use it as directed (three times a week). I didn’t feel much of a hydrating effect, but my skin was happy with it on day one and two, but it was feeling oversensitized on day three and now I know I’ve messed something up. Giving it five stars because I’m sure if I hadn’t gotten overly eager I’d be really pleased.

I have very dry/ sensitive skin. I have used other BHA products, and most of them made things worse because they were too harsh, even when it claimed to be gentle. For my skin, this cleared up my acne incredibly fast. After 1 use my pores were smaller, and all “pre-acne” (little nodules under the skin, waiting to become white heads ) along my jaw line were gone. Any existing acne on my face was gone or improved in 3-4 days. It has only been a week, so if these greats results don’t continue I’ll update my review, but for me this is a holy grail product. Yes it smells, but the smell goes away, and who cares if it works this well. I can’t remember the last time I had an entire week without a single new zit on my face.

The only thing that has helped clear up the pimple like bumps on my upper arms. Doesn’t smell great, but it fades quickly. A little bit goes a long way.
