Review: Not so good - I put this knot in a cheap Van Der Hagen handle and it's now my favorite brush, it has the badger softness with plenty of backbone for whipping up lather. Update 10/19/19: The knot worked great for about a month, then it started shedding real bad, don't know if I got a lemon or not.
