This help tremendously with the pesky fruit flies. Though I am not sure what the little flying things were in my pantry but this trap did the job. .

Tried the others, these are the best
So here's the story... Boat gets stored at the marina on land for the fall/winter/spring. The boatyard is pretty slow putting boats in the water and by June when I finally get access to the boat I see the carpeting on my boat deteriorating in some spots. I thought, "that's weird". The next day I am back on the boat and notice little flying creatures. I pull out the google and find out that these are moths eating my wool carpet (technically it is just the nymphs, not adults). Immediately I go to the big box store and get some all natural lemongrass insecticide. Did NOTHING. My local home improvement store had a couple of packages of the Black Flag traps and I tried them out. Within a couple of days I had 50-100 caught. Cool I thought. Since these buggers are eating my wool carpet, they must be clothes moths so I go to the amazon and order a variety of traps from Dr. Killigan, Safer and Terra as well as getting some more of the proven Black Flag. The Killigan pantry moth traps and the Safer/Terra clothes moth traps (actually same product in different packaging) all had the triangular glue trap and a separate pheromone square that you need to put out. Black Flag, which is ready to use with no separate pheromone square just works SO MUCH BETTER FOR MY MOTH PROBLEM. Absolutely no contest comparing with the others. Some of the others were just a joke in comparison. Go with the Black Flag, easiest to use and for my moth problem visibly the most effective. I've been working on the moth problem for almost a month now and with daily vacuuming and practically littering the boat with traps I am starting to see a real reduction in the number of moths. Hopefully I'll be done completely in a few more weeks. ... and of course, I'm never using that marina again.

With sufficient user patience and the right location, It works!
I have a pantry/meal moth problem here in south Texas, so this review relates to this type of moth only and not any other kind of pest. I've tried other traps, including the type with pheromone pad that you manually place inside, to no avail. I thought this Black Flag trap was going to be another dud. The first one I put out didn't catch any moths, which surprised me, as I've had good luck with all the other Black Flag products I've used over the years. As my moths have been buzzing my head while I sit on my couch using the computer and/or watching TV in my living room, that's the room I selected for the first trap. Nothing. Zilch. Nada. I was prepared to put in a claim with Black Flag for a refund. I procrastinated and after about 2.5 weeks, the trap had a single moth inside. Since I had witnessed moths flying all around the trap but not going inside, I thought this may be a fluke. A couple days later, another couple moths were stuck, then another few within days, and now there are about 15-20 stuck in there. I was thinking the first unlucky moth got stuck by picking a random spot on which to set foot (it was right at the adhesive outer edge), and that the subsequent moths were simply attracted to the first moth instead of the trap bait. To test the fluke theory, I set the second trap inside a pantry, with door slightly open, because.. pantry moths. Nothing. Zilch. Nada... for the first few days. Then a single moth was stuck. Then nothing for days. So, I moved that trap to the hall, where there is no food of any kind anywhere nearby. A few days later, it started collecting more moths. This trap requires a lot of patience. If it hasn't caught anything for days or even a couple weeks, don't give up. Leave it out and you might eventually be as surprised as I was when it starts collecting moths. Evidently, even with moths flying closely around these traps, it still takes them a while to "find" it, after which it starts collecting them. I wonder whether this is some kind of delayed activation time after the protective film sheet is removed from the glue, perhaps designed to preserve it for increased shelf life? There's nothing on the box that says this is the case, so it's a mystery. Also, like real estate, location location location is key! I couldn't believe the open hall with zero food source is more effective than the pantry, because.. PANTRY MOTHS. I'm ordering more of these Black Flag traps to put in all kinds of places around here. Hopefully, they will collect moths faster than the moths are able to reproduce and will rid my home of these pests, because I can't find where they're coming from (their "nest")!

Ineffective against other pantry pests (Rice weevils/cigarette Beatles)
I purchased this product based on the packaging and Amazon listing, which claim it works for a variety of pantry pests, and not just moths. Unfortunately, after using it for over a week in a closed pantry with a known infestation of rice weevils and cigarette beetles, it failed to catch a single one. I followed the directions carefully, ensured the adhesive protector was fully removed, and placed it in the most affected area. Still, no results. I’m giving it three stars instead of one because the instructions were clear, the packaging was easy to use, and the manufacturer provided helpful customer service and return advice. However, if you're specifically trying to trap pantry moths only, I recommend checking out the Raid brand traps available at Walmart—they’re more effective and offer better value. This product, based on my research of other reviews, is only good for large flying insects such as moths.

Didn’t work for me :(
It’s been up in my pantry for 3 days. I see the moths come out from there and not a single one has stuck to the trap. I did remove the clear wrap it’s sticky but have no clue why they don’t go in.. I opened my pantry and saw a moth next to the trap.. 🤯 but why not in the trap? I’m confused I thought I read good reviews on it.
