TetraMin Tropical Flakes Fish Food, 4.52 lbs

I’ve been using these TetraMin Tropical Flakes for my small fish and they seem to really like them. The flakes are easy to crush into smaller pieces, which is helpful for tiny fish. They float long enough for the fish to eat them and don’t seem to make a huge mess when I use the right amount. The container is a good size and should last quite a while. Overall, this is a simple and convenient fish food that has worked well for me

TetraMin Tropical Flakes are easy to feed and a good everyday option for tropical fish. The flakes are a convenient size, and my fish seem to enjoy them. I like that they provide a balanced diet and are easy to portion. Overall, a good staple fish food for keeping tropical fish well fed.

This food is very good quality. This container of 4.52 pounds is an extremely large amount of fish food. And it's a great value for the money. I am on my 2nd one now. I give it to all my fish. It is colorful. All the fish like it. It smells like fish food. My guppies, mollies, platy, goldfish, grouramis, cichlids, and even the catfish all eat it. I give them some other food every once in awhile too, but this is mostly what they eat. I have never had a single problem from it. It doesn't cloudy up my water unless I really over do it. I think they like the way that it tastes. My fish prefer this over other brands I have tried before. This is enough food to last most fish owners several years. I refill smaller containers with the large container every once in awhile so it will stay fresh. I am careful not to crush it.

My fishes favorite food by far.

My store is normally get fish food from was out and I was almost out so I ordered this. Its a huge bottle and lasts forever. I love this food cause it doesnt make my water cloudy and its easy to feed.

I’ve tried a lot of fish foods over the years, and this one is definitely high quality. The first thing I noticed was how fresh it looked and smelled (not overly fishy or stale like some brands). My fish responded immediately at feeding time — strong color, active swimming, and no hesitation eating it once it was in the tank. Water clarity has also stayed consistent, which tells me it’s not full of fillers that break down and cloud things up. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is the flake size. The flakes are very large — much bigger than standard flake food. For medium or smaller fish, you absolutely have to crush it between your fingers before feeding. It’s not a huge deal, but it does add an extra step and can be a little messy if you’re in a hurry. That said, once crushed, my fish eat it eagerly and seem to do great on it. If you have larger fish, this might actually be a bonus for you. For smaller community tanks, just plan on breaking it up first. Overall: excellent ingredients, fish love it, just oversized flakes. Would buy again — and would definitely give five stars if the flake size were more practical.

My fish absolutely love this food! I have goldfish, angelfish, and several other types, and they enjoy it every day. They seem happy, active, and healthy. Great fish food—I’m very happy with it!

I have been using the classic TetraMin for over 45 years. Great product.

Good quality fish food, worth the 100$ I spent for years of fish food!

Great tropical fish food. You save a lot in buying bulk. Tetramin Staple fish food have been around for a very long time and they are known for their quality products. When I was a boy, over 50 years ago, that was what my father was feeding his fish with. You can't go wrong with them and your fish will stay healthy and in perfect shape.

The fish seem to like it.

Initially my fish didn’t eat it. But now they are liking it. Very happy with the purchase.
