If you put the compression sock on the helper all the way on, then squeeze your foot in while sliding your foot in, then pull the helper on, the sock should come over your ankle, then you should be able to pull them up by hand the rest of the way. This helper works the best for me

Handle broke right off the get go.

I bought this and returned it.The idea is great - put your support hose around this plastic "plate," slide your foot/leg through, then pull the handles up to let the hose wrap on your leg - but I could not get it to work. My skin stuck to the plastic, and I was completely unable to use it.Other people seem to find it useful, so I don't want to discourage them from using it, but it did not work for me. Conceptually, having something between the hose and your skin puts a lot of friction in place that can make this difficult to use.

Works well, a bit awkward but does help with socks.

Again rubber grips slide of handle. Put in the trash.

The first time I used the EZ Stocking Helper to put on stockings and compression stockings, it worked well, even though the top edge of the paddle dug into my skin and was very uncomfortable. The long handles were wonderful too. But from then on I had to use corn starch to help with my feet sticking to the paddle, and the handles still pulled apart in the middle because of the extreme pulling. This product is a wonderful idea which needs more development.

Great help to put on socks.

Product did not hold up to my husband putting his socks on for the first use. Amazon is suppose to besending a replacement but in the mean time I have to put my husbands socks on him every morning. As of today I have not received thereplacement.

The best sock putter on around by far. My husband can now put his own socks on and we take it everywhere we go as it is light and easily packed in a suitcase. We do keep a rubber band around it at home to encourage a more curved shape making it easier to get in the.sock. My husband has very limited dexterity and mobility and if he can put his socks on with this anyone can. We have recommended this product to our local independent living centre.
