Good Set Of Clippers
Good set of clippers. Lots of attachments for different options to trim my beard. Works well and charges quick.

Great beard, mustache, nose, ear trimmer. Not hair.
I read a lot of the reviews and that helped me make my decision. I've had this trimmer a couple of months now, and really love it. I'll start with the points I did NOT find easily in other reviews Yes, it does a great job trimming the edges of your mustache above the lip, etc. I've had all-in-one beard groomers where the trimming attachment did not cut well. Not so with this one. The first time I used it I was instantly showing a lot more lip than I had planned on. In other words, it trims mustaches better than anything I have used before. The other point I was unclear about in other reviews was the usefulness of the nose/ear trimmer attachment. I have owned 2 or 3 of those battery powered rotating types before, and always found them so-so. This trimmer attachment does a much better job than those, and is faster. Just stick it in your ear or nose and you're done in 2 seconds, whereas the rotary types make you keep doing it for a while before it seems like you're done. The noise level is not a problem at all for me - it's noisy but not objectionable in your ear, about the same or less noise level as my rotary trimmer. For beard trimming (I have a goatee that I keep fairly short), it works well but is slightly less convenient than the all-in-one beard groomers I have owned. You have to switch attachments, which is frankly very easy, though not as easy as just dialing in a 3 or 4 on one of those beard groomers. And the attachments are a bit of a pain because you have to either pick, for instance, a 2 or 3 beard trimmer, or else use the 6-position trimmer attachment. That 6-position trimmer attachment is what I use, and it's fine, though adjusting it's height requires a little more effort than it should. Battery life is outstanding, and what puts it above everything else. It lasted 2 months of frequent use on its first charge, and I expect it to last for years. Other beard groomers I have owned (both Panasonic) died after a couple of years and had to be plugged in. The attachments in general are a bit of a pain, as everyone else mentions. However, putting them on and off is really easy - not as complicated (at least to me) as others have mentioned. I keep them all in the tray on my countertop and it works fairly well. The tray gets really crowded, so I've take some of the attachments I'm never going to use and put them in a drawer. It is nice to have your oil and brush right there whenever you need them - otherwise I would not clean and oil it as often as I should:) For haircutting, I agree with everyone else. This thing is really narrow, even with the wider cutting head attached. It's about half the width of my corded Wahl trimmer, which is what I've been using to cut my hair (and does a great job). Also, the attachments are not long enough for my hair, which normally takes a 4 and a 5 attachment. Not sure if you can buy longer attachments for it or not. I think the best solution is just to spend another 30 bucks on the corded Wahl unit like I did. It's a beast, seems to actually dim the lights when you turn it on (semi-kidding here but you get the idea). For all around trimming, meaning sideburns and hairline at back of neck, it's super. The normal attachment does a great job of shaping your hair and cuts super sharp. In sum - it's outstanding for moustache/ear/nose trimming as well as shaping your beard or hair at the edges. Don't bother thinking it's going to be very good for actually cutting your hair.

Does the job just fine
I've been using this Wahl trimmer for about 3 weeks now, and it works just fine for what I need. In the past I have always "clean-shaven" my whole face, but recently I grew tired of shaving and decided to grow a simple "Van Dyke" just to see if I liked it. Turns out, as most people (besides me) could figure out, a Van Dyke or most any beard requires maintenance / regular trimming, or you end up looking like a homeless grizzly adams rather quickly. After doing lots of online shopping, I decided to take the plunge on this guy (Wahl Trimmer All-In-One Lithium Ion) as the price was right - I paid $24.95 at the time from Amazon. Trimming with this thing is easy for me, and I know nothing about beards or beard "hygiene" The Wahl is perfect for cleaning up, trimming, and the little touch-ups I have to do every few days or so to keep from looking like a bum. I've tried (but rarely use) most of the accessories and additional trimming / clipping / shaving heads, etc - but the ones I have experimented with work just as well as the "default" trimmer head that comes attached. Works great not only for beards but for trimming just about anywhere, though I'm still too chicken to try the clipper blade for a self-clipped #2 haircut - I think I'll stick with a cost-cutters type vendor for those. But this kit works great for trimming just about everywhere else if you're not into gorilla-type body hair. One amazing thing - this trimmer arrived FULLY CHARGED - and I still haven't had to plug in the charger. The trimmer has been running just fine on a "factory charge" for 2-3 weeks now - (I am not making this up) a testament to: a) how little trimming I do with it b) how incredibly well it holds a charge. - I would expect any battery-powered device to trickle / lose it's charge in a few days if not plugged in, but this little guy just keeps crankin' like the Energizer bunny. The default trimmer blade that comes attached can sometimes be a little bit of work to re-attach after cleaning, but if I'm careful to line it up correctly and most importantly, NOT FORCE it back on, it's a minor issue. All the other heads and attachments seem to snap on and off just fine, as long as, again, they're not manhandled or forced on. Summary: All in all this was a great purchase - $24.95 for what imo is a decent trimmer that doesn't look or feel like cheap junk, and does exactly what I want it to do. I am completely satisfied with the product and price. I recommend it.

Nice and clean trim!
I just got mine the other day and put it to use right away after charging it as per the instructions. This trimmer cost a little more than a similar model, but I got this one in particular because the battery has a 3 hour life span before needing to be charged which is great for traveling. The interchangeable heads are super easy to literally pop on and off, and using the trimmer is straight forward. I liked the attachments it came with and I found them sufficient for what I need. I have a short mustache and beard, so I found the number III spacer perfect for the job, but those with heavier beards, this does come with a thicker spacer/comb that is adjustable. If you need additional spacers/combs, the machine comes with a parts number list that one can order from Wahl directly. Easy to clean, easy to use, and easy to store away in the included pouch!

Great trimmer, exceptional nose hair trimmer
I have used this system for over a year. It is very easy to use, the battery last a long time, and the cutting heads are still very sharp. I particularly like the nose hair trimmer attachment. It is vibration free which means it does not tickle. I have had to steel myself to use past trimmers because the experience was negative. The various trimming heads are quite effective for different jobs. My wife uses it, with different heads to shape my hair. I have not had a professional haircut in several years. I am very happy to have purchased this product. It is well worth the investment.

Not the greatest
This product was ok and did the job for a while. But after time it broke and seems to be made with low quality. When it comes to shaving don’t be cheap and buy a good product.

Great Trimmer
I have had these before over the past 20 years. Does great job on trimming my goatee and mustache. The only negative so far is my attachments from my previous trimmers don't fit this new model. I like move to using USB to charge the trimmer vs the old bricks. The new attachments work fine . I haven't tried the ear or nose attachments. I don't know how well the battery holds charge. I do wish they had added a charge light to indicate when it is fully charged.

Disappointed & replaced with Wahl 9818
I had to return the first one after a week, because it died. I wish I would have exchanged it for the Wahl 9818 Lithium Ion Stainless Steel All-in-one Groomer ($50.99 Nov-2012). My second one lasted a few weeks (still on the first charge) and the on/off switch jammed. The internal sub-assembly seems to have come loose, so when I move the switch I am moving the internals instead. I waited too long to return it to Amazon, so I replaced it with the 9818. I wish that I would not have tried to save $20, because now I have paid $82 total. Other reviewers have mentioned the rubber cover and the hair that sticks to it. I wanted to return it for that reason before the switch stopped working. You cannot use water to rinse this off, and dry towels won't remove the hair. The thing that works the best is a damp rag, but what a pain. It picks up stuff on surfaces that appear to be perfectly clean. It's a magnet. If you don't mind the hair, or don't mind using a damp cloth, then this would not be an issue. But I would rather spend the extra $20 for the stainless version. I only use this to trim my sideburns, so all of the other attachments are a waste for me. I bought this because it was the least expensive Wahl I found with a lithium ion battery. The battery is amazing and neither trimmer worked long enough to need a recharge. Update Nov-2012: It was very nice to see the comment from Wahl (below). I have never had that happen before. I returned the defect and purchased the 9818. The 9818 was also apparently defective. The Wahl website says that both clippers have the same torque, but my new stainless 9818 runs slow and seems wimpy. After a full charge I could grab the blades while running and stop them using very moderate force. I was unable to stop the lesser expensive 9854 now matter how much force I used. I sent the 9818 to Wahl repair at the same time. They just received them today. I am sticking with Wahl in spite of this experience because they have the strongest motors, the best blades, and they are made in the USA. And now I know that their customer service is good too.

Great Shaver
I used this product and it's great. The shave is close and nice. The shaver feels solid in your hand and not cheap. The delivery and service was excellent!

Great looking trimmer, but...
The main problem with the trimmer was that it shipped with an American plug only. I had to buy a US to UK plug converter to charge it. The combs supplied were only good for stubble or bushy beard. Nothing in between. Unit looks great and battery life is awesome.
