Another affordable Ryobi product that is well made for its use
Granted, if I had wanted a commercial grade product I would have chosen Dewalt, but at a much higher price. I'm not a professional end-user, but I do want to be able to rely on my tools lasting for a reasonable time and with no expectation that they be used for severe or excessively demanding applications.I've read the complaint that the chuck is a weakness for the tool. I have not found this to be the case -- it has worked very well for me. The drill also has the amount of torque I need. I've thought of buying such a tool for years and am glad that I finally broke down and bought it. In the short time I've owned it it has proven to be very useful.

GREAT TOOL FOR TIGHT PLACES

Great for working in tight spaces
I bought this drill midway through building a deck and in hindsight, I bought it just in time. I designed the deck with the joists at 12-inch on center (some of them ended up being 12 inches "off center"), so I needed a tool that would let me put in the hurricane straps and block with structural screws. This tool was stout, lasted all day on a 4ah battery and became my go-to drill (despite having 3 other drills to use).

Works well but...
This is a good product but I wish it had the adjustable clutch like other drills. It could be do to space limitations on the tool. I have never had a right angle screwdriver before so am not sure this is even possible to have this option. Otherwise it works well and I am happy with it.

perfect for the tight spot that I was in!
I used it to install a shelving end plate that could be EASILY removed next time the AHU of my home system has to be removed for servicing or replacement WITHOUT taking a reciprocal saw to the shelving unit again.

Helped with stubborn bolts on Audi
Was doing a timing chain on my Audi and a few of the lower timing chain cover bolts, chain guide bolts, and chain tensioner bolts where rounded out due to the previous owners replacement of them over torquing them to well past 20nm. If anyone has done this repair they know that even with the Audi in service position there is only about six to ten inches of clearance between the engine block and the radiator. This paired with the stubby drill bits I got from Amazon aloud me to take out these stubborn bolts.

Great tool
A great versitale tool. Love that you can get into tight places with it. My only comment was that it was shipped in the original box for the tool and was not placed in a shipping box with added protection - also the carrier could see what it was - tempting to steal. Came ahead of time, which was great!
