Found (The Crescent Chronicles Book 3)

Be forewarned there are spoilers from the previous books in this seriesFound is the final book in the Crescent Chronicles by Alyssa Rose Ivy and it couldn't have ended better! Sure I have a few questions left about some of the secondary characters, but sometimes we don't always get to know their fates, but Found was still a very enjoyable read! Jess is being held hostage by Allie's ex-boyfriend Toby, and Allie wants nothing more than to get her back safe and sound, but Levi isn't willing to risk Allie's life for hers. He says he's working on getting Jess back, but it's taking too long.In the meantime, Allie is meeting more of Levi's family and preparing for her role as queen, but the thing is, Allie isn't feeling to well lately, getting headaches that only Levi can seem to cure. Turns out that the bond they formed when Levi asked Allie to marry him and be his queen, isn't too stable. Basically, the other heirs from the different clans could "steal" her away, if Allie chose to wear their rings and marry them. Hence the reason why Toby believes he has a chance of winning Allie back.I have definitely enjoyed this series! One of the few Paranormal New Adult series I've stumbled onto and I thought it was pretty awesome! Allie has been an enjoyable heroine, thinking things over in a sensible way. True, sometimes things got a touch annoying, like how many times Allie and Levi have to have sex. I get sex is necessary sometimes in books, but as I've mentioned before, it gets annoying when that's all the characters do. Granted that's not completely the case here, but it was pretty close at times.Allie's friends are back as well, Tiffany and Anne. Although, it was their "fates" at the end that we don't get to hear about. They weren't in the story as much as they were last time. I kind of was hoping Jared and Tiffany would get together and Anne and Owen, but it doesn't look likely. Especially since Jared is going to be going after the heroine in the new spinoff series The Empire Chronicles, where a new heroine, Casey takes the page. So sob on that front, but hopefully Casey will be an enjoyable heroine as well.Toby was quite the surprise in this one. He came off as an obsessive douche bag in Focus. He's definitely possessive when it comes to Allie--and there is a hidden reason to that that Allie learns about in this one as well. Why she's such a hot commodity with all the heirs.The romance as I said, was sweet, but got to be a little much at times. There was a good dose of action/suspense towards the end. Lots of tension in that sense because we just didn't know what was going to happen. Allie was making decisions out of left field in order to save Jess and the results were shocking. Overall it was a well paced novel that kept me entertained throughout! There was this constant desire to know what all these secrets were and for the most part, they are explained, if simply.Definitely looking forward to reading Soar later this month, hopefully, as it doesn't seem to be appearing on Amazon. I am curious to see more of Toby, for he appears in that one as well as Jared. Yes, it seems our new heroine is going to find herself in a love triangle, possibly! Of course now it leaves me wondering just who is on that cover with her?!Found was a great ending to the Crescent Chronicles trilogy and I am looking forward to new spinoff trilogy to return to some of the old, favorite characters.Overall Rating 4/5 stars

I fell in love with this series and with Ms. Ivy's writing after the very first book. To say I adore it and the characters she created would be an understatement. I truly have so much fun reading with each book and I have anxiously been waiting for the release of Found. I couldn't get my hands on it soon enough and after having to read through a few earlier commitments, but the time I was able to pick this up, I was going crazy having to know how it was all going to end and sad that it would be the end.I would say that I read this series solely for the loveable sexiness that is Levi but the truth is, I read it for all the fabulous characters, and fabulous they all are. It is hard to find a tight knit group as loyal, loving, and fun as there are in this series. Every single one of them has gotten better and better as the series and their stories have progressed.They have all become stronger, fiercer and more capable and even more loyal to one another. They all have a bond of friendship that can not be broken and I absolutely love that about this series. I love watching characters not only grow stronger but grow closer to one another as well.It is rare that there isn't a lot of drama when you put a big group of friends together, and while these friends do have their problems, they work through them together and come out better for it and their bonds even stronger. How could an author ever go wrong with friendship and relationships like that?While I didn't start this series and stick with it solely because of Levi, he really is a big part of why I love this series. He is so true and kind and loving to Allie and even though he doesn't always make the right decisions when it comes to her, he does it always out of love for her. He really stepped up in this one and showed just how much he loves her, cares about her and trusts her.Allie too grew as a characters, as a friend and as a princess. She too doesn't always make the wisest choices or even the best ones but again, she does it all because she thinks it is what is right and she does it for those that she loves. I love how accepting she finally is of Levi, his lifestyle and her future life with him. She really brings it as well and I was thrilled with how this ended.I am even more excited that there will be a spin off series. I want more of the Pterons and I wasn't ready to completely say goodbye to all of them. I can't wait for more.

I could not put any of the books down and ended up finishing all three plus the novella over the weekend!! Great story different idea for a plot with the shifters originating from birds and having large angel like wings. The way the author ends the second book, Focus, was very surprising; I could not believe that Allie's ex, Toby, was the Blackwell heir!! Levi and Allie are adorable, I love when the guy has to fight for what he wants instead of the girls just fawning over them. Allie definitely keeps Levi on his toes throughout the story but you can tell that she loves him beyond belief and she gives him a hard time when needed. Levi continues to prove to Allie over and over how much he loves her even if she second guesses him occasionally.Quit the drama between all the heirs to the thrown when they show up at the winter ball to dance with Allie. Very entertaining, also I loved all the girly descriptions of the dresses that Allie wears for each event. Then you find out that since Levi didn't do the mate bond right when he tricked Allie in the first book, the two get sick from the tainted bond and have to find a way to fix it before things gets worse. I loved Levi's grandma she was a great addition to the already great group of characters. I feel terrible for Toby by the end of the story and really hope things work out for him in the spin off series. It all ends at the coronation when Levi takes over as King; I just wanted the story to keep going for Allie, Levi and the gang!!! I will be reading the spin off series The Empire Chronicles Book 1, Soar, next. Overall a very entertaining read!!See more reviews here[...]

I loved this series of books, I'm very disappointed that there aren't any to follow. I could follow Allison and Levi 's life for another couple of books. I was a bit dubious as to whether this book would be as good as the others because some authors cause me to lose interest after a while , alyssa rose ivy never fails to produce a brilliant book. the only problem I would have with the book is that it's not very long with only approx. 250+ pages it's not very long and I read it within a day. this may be because I read fast but other books have around 400+ but saying this, this book has everything you would want from teenage supernatural novel and I'm 16 so this book hits the target audience but my mum also loves these books so if you like twilight or books like this then you would love this series of books. highly recommend these for anyone who likes a romance with also some supernatural qualities.

OMG what a finale, this book picks up from Focus. Allie and Levi's relationship is getting stronger but things with the other families is changing, the reason?? Allie. She finally finds out why everything comes back to her but will that be the end for her and Levi? Will Toby get her back? And what about Cade? Wow.Again amazing story, plot, characters, and writing. I was glued to this series and I can't wait to continue the Pterons story. The romance and love is amazing, the angst is thrilling, the twists and turns. Wow. The sex scenes were great, respectful and sweet, not obscene. Overall an amazing read and would highly recommend to paranormal lovers.

I was fullt perpared to read this triology and it be like so many i'd read before BUT i was pleasently surprised and left a little speechless, so mush came from this series that i didn't see coming, i was scary, romantic (a little saucy!), funny all wrapped up in one. Great set of books almosy wish they went on. The characters were well planned and developed well the plot was cleverly done it kept me guessing! and the location of the story fit in really well with the 'eerie' feeling something big was going on. Loved these books will read again.

I loved the first two books in the story but this by far was the most surprising and was a wonderful read and conclusion to the story. I was sad that it finished as I think I could have carried on reading about these characters for many more books. There were some clever twists and perhaps it did get a bit mushy at times but after reading the first two books I think I needed a bit of it. Loved the whole series and have brought copies to give to friends and family for Christmas. These will make an amazing movie series and quite frankly I can't wait for a studio to pick them up. Highly recommended....three of the best books I have read.

Omg! This is such an incredibly intense series I have been reading for 2 days straight as I couldn't read all three books quick enough!This has to be one of my most favourite series I have ever read, the story is truly incredible and I really felt connected to the characters in the book!I really can't wait for the empire chronicles to come out to follow the stories on, in my opinion it can't come fast enough!This writer writes exceptionally well and I 100% recommend this series to anyone and everyone!
