Replaced original board. So far so good.
My original USB board (charging port) in the phone started giving a moisture detected notification and there was no way to get rid of of clear it. Apparently this is a common problem with the Galaxy S8 Plus. The phone has never been exposed to water or moisture. I was no longer able to charge the phone normally so I had to purchase a wireless charger. That was ok while at home but not an option if I was out and needed to charge. I ordered this board and replaced the original one in the phone. So far this board has worked flawlessly. I have had it for about a week now and no more moisture detected issues. Finally I can charge my phone via the USB port again. For around $10 it was well worth the money. If your not accustomed to working on electronics then you might not want to install this your self as it there are some pretty small connectors to deal with. It is a tedious job but worth the effort. We will see how long it lasts.

Did not work for galaxy s8+ it was missing a connection for one of the internal antenna
