I purchased this book for a Christmas present have not given it to recipient as of yet. Hoping they will like it.

Loved the dazzling glittery cover and the outstanding pictures and history of Barbie and how the was invented by Ruth Handler.

It starts with general talk about Ruthe Handler and her way through business . From chapter 1 to chapter 3 all I can read was not new for me, as I read all books about Barbie, but starting from chapter 4 (Shaping Barbie) page:71 I really enjoyed it, the author was speaking about the current world of Barbie/Mattel, and the recent releases and manufacturing methods and so. In general, if you collect Barbie or into that, this book is a great read. The photos are really enjoyable and clear. 5 stars for the author and the publisher and Amazon.

Very cute book with lots of color photos - nice for any aged Barbie fan! 4 stars because sadly the corners were banged up a little (due to being shipped in an envelope - instead of a box)!
