Yes it stands up easily - I do not know how it does on a carpet - I have hardwood floors throughout my entire house and do not have carpet

Will this fit in a Kidkraft mansion garage?

I never heard of a Kidkraft mansion - my grand daughter uses it with her Barbie Dream House

Is the doll stand/support removable without damaging the moped?

I am unsure what this question is asking. I bought the Barbie Moped with Puppy without a Barbie Doll. The Barbies we have fit on the Moped. I did not experience any problems.
