Birdwell Men's 310 Nylon Board Shorts, Short Length

Simply put, Birdwell's are old school board shorts.Great history, great look.I personally think the 310 is the one to get...The Medium leg, 311 version is nice but a bit too much material for my taste. I stacked these up against Katin's [another old school brand] I picked Birdies, honestly, I have some regret...Katin's are a bit more beefy [thicker material]...Birdie's a bit soft...You won't go wrong with either. If you're looking for a real 1960's board shorts, think Birdie.

These kept popping up on my feeds and I thought they were very cool but too expensive. Bit the bullet and bought them. They are the best! I got the black and an interested in the Camo. I might sell a kidney and get them.

I like that they offer some mid-size options. The pair I got fit pretty perfect, and I like how they hit maybe mid-thigh. Instead of knee-length boardshorts or the OPs of old, these just fit right.I like the feel and heft of the shorts, and the fact that they're made in the U.S. They might be a little premium priced, but so far they've been worth it.

These are great. I am a little different from the perspective that I DO appreciate swimsuits with liners, so I was a little skeptical going in. However, these fit great, I don't miss the liner, and they're not ridulously long like most board shorts. These are not so short that they make it look like Tom Selleck in Magnum PI either. Hit about mid thigh.

Extremely well made. Quick drying. Comfortable. Love them. The shorter cut is good for short guys like me but may be too short for taller guys. That’s ok, tall guys get enough breaks as it is.

I had to exchange the 31 for a 32 so I would say that these run a little small since I am 31” waist in every brand I own and have recently purchased. Once I received the 32” I am in LOVE. Best swim shorts ever. Worth every penny. Quality is beyond excellent and the material is simply ideal for a day at the beach, swimming in the pool or surfing. They do not slide off my hips either when clobbered by a wave ☺️

Although the fit is a bit snug, these shorts are designed and manufactured well. As a hardcore offshore sport fisherman, I need to be able to get around and these don't impede my movement whatsoever. Slightly stretchy material and these being the shortest inseam size, I don't have to 'hike 'em up' before jumping across the transom or whatever. I need another pair for when we do multiple days or tournaments.

Awesome board shorts if you are tired of long loose fitting trunks. Sturdy nylon will last a long time. Wore them for 3 months straight in ocean hours a day and barely any signs of wear except cool slight fading of color which looks great.
