Janlynn 242077 Sleepy Bunnies Sampler Counted Cross Stitch Kit, 13" x 18", Multi-Colored, 14 Count

I am expecting my first grandchild in January and thought this would be a great way to celebrate her birth. My mom made one of these for my siblings and I (different kits/patterns, but cross stitched) and it is something that I treasure - my hope is that my grandchild will treasure it as well. I searched and searched for a cute one and settled on the bunnies despite my daughter's insistence on an owl theme.Anyway.... I received it and opened it up and this thing is huge! I didn't see the finished dimension size listed in the description and am very disappointed. The one that my mom made is about 8" x10" and I think that is the perfect size....this item, Janlynn Cross Stitch Kit, Sleepy Bunnies Birth Announcement (finished), is 11" x 14" and I can't imagine my daughter actually putting it on the wall, so I will not be making this one.It also states that it is screen printed....I mistakenly thought that meant that it was stamped vs counted cross stitch but it is NOT. THIS KIT IS COUNTED CROSS STITCH. Based on the questions/answers section on the item page, it was unclear since there are conflicting answers, but it is COUNTED.It is definitely cute and the directions seem clear enough. And if you want an 11" x 14" birth record, then this is great. In the package, there are: graph/directions, floss, needle and aida cloth. No backing fabric or screen printing. Good luck!

I had picked two cross stitch patterns and one I didn't realize were stamped and the second one was too small for my eyes. I came across the Sleepy Bunnies pattern and that one was perfect. I will follow up when it's completed. I love it. The colors are perfect, and I will choose dark blue for my grandson's name and birthdate. Just showing you a little something just so that you can see what I have one so far and it's easy to cross stitch with the size of the squares on the pattern.

I made this for my granddaughterShe had a choice she chose this. She loves it. If you buy it the directions come in 2 pieces. I should have taped them together if you do that it will make it easier for you to follow the directionsBut it was fun to make and she loves it enjoy

The pinks are too close in color. Almost indistinguishable. Easy and quick to finish since design is simple and cute!

This is a great kit, colors are organized better than any kit I've bought. There is enough thread for the project, just have to ensure you follow the pattern. It is counted (which I prefer) and not stamped. It will need to be framed upon completion.

Super cute pattern with very easy to understand directions. The package includes all the floss needed and it even comes with a needle. I did not need to buy a single thing to complete this adorable pattern. This is my first cross stitch project in over 20 years and honestly I was a bit intimidated but because this kit is so well put together and so easy to use, I am sailing along and loving it again!

The Counted pattern is in black-and-white And difficult to read for me. I’m coloring so that I don’t go blind. May want to get this one printed.
