I asked my barber what clippers I should buy for trimming and maintaining my beard and neck line etc. as sick of poor quality off the shelf brands. He did recommend the professional ranges from the likes of Wahl as the difference between their off the shelf and professional brands are huge and they are excellent albeit expensive. He then pointed me in the direction of Kemei, explaining he also uses some of their equipment and in terms of cut and quality they are on par and for the price in comparison just can't be beat.He also said although I'm unlikely to ever need to replace the cutting blades, they can be replaced with the Wahl professional line cutting blade.I can see and feel a massive difference in quality between an off the shelf and these after using them for the first time today.Battery life out of the box was 62% and after using for 10-15 minute only dropped to 48%.Being used to clippers dying after 30 minutes of use I'm impressed to how the battery held up.Also extremely pleased with how close they cut on the neck line and how easy it seems to pass through course hair almost first pass.Very impressed and extremely thankful to my barber for pointing me in the direction of these and saving me a small fortune being able to avoid the "top" companies professional lines for limited home use.Also bought a Kemei Foil Shaver on his review which gives an incredibly close shave on the cheek line.Would definitely look no further and buy this brand again.Highly recommend.

Great bit of kit. Bought these as I couldn't justify the £80 price tag for the Wahl balding clippers. I've been shaving my head for about 10 years and had various models of clipper. These are by far the best I've had. I use them with no gaurd on and it's the closest shave I've had without bic'ing. I dare say the wahl ones would be even closer but at £30 these do the job just fine. I think they go down to 1mm. I've had 6 cuts so far and the battery is still reading 60%. No cuts and goes through the hair with ease.

Brilliant set of clippers compared to others bought. The take the hair as short as near skin Head. Even great for trimming facial stubble. You wont be disappointed.

I had to go over my hair two or three times to get stray hairs. The guide numbers are pretty pointless. I used the 2mm guard and I look like I've had a number one cut or even lower. I've only used it the once so far straight out of the box so I'm prepared to give it more time.

I had the KEMIE clippers for nearly two months, one cut every two weeks or so, great tool, cordless, will work plugged in. Several different cut lengths available in the box, I just turned in upside down , like my barbar use to. Brilliant time when bought, a very cut low cut.

I bought this item because my husband cannot get to the barbers. The attachments are for: short, very short or bald. I used the short attachment and my husband is nearly bald. In our opinion this is way too short.

This machine is as good as professional hair trimmers . I am a barber of 28 years and only buy wahl andis or babyliss fx . And these bad boys cut as close to any of the above and at a fraction of the price .
