It’s important to know that Gods word and Truth is in any devotional you choose to “DEVOTE” your time to. This devotional is truly a God send for a precious moment of time with God! If You only have 2-5 minutes or an hour in prayer this is it. A great impact in a short or lengthy amount of time. I must add because today’s world is in a rat race with a 9-5 so you feel you don’t have time to devote but seriously, you can take it to work, on a break, on the train or Uber or Lyft you have time you feel you miss with God! . Just randomly open it up and let God speak to you from that specific page. Be BLESSED and ENJOY!!!

Throughout the years I have used many devotional journals. Hands down this is the BEST. My pastor had our church do a "Spiritual Fast." Not a food fast. The fast challenged us to spend 60 mins a day with God during Advent. I began reading, and journaling Dec 1st, with Dec 31st being the end date. That will not be the end of "my Date Night" with God. This devotional, and my bible have become the cornerstone during the daily "date." It is easy on the eyes, and not too wordy or long. I read the 3 paragraphs- say the prayer, and then journal in the lower section of the book. I have been inspired by the simple, yet profound words/ experiences the author shares. She uses her own personal experience, in conjuction with the bible verses to "speak" to us. The book reads like a friend having an honest, and direct chat with you. She "keeps it real." She doesn't beat me over the head a list of bible verses, and quotes. She discusses how a specific part of the bible can be used to deal with everyday challenges. While reading I took a long hard look at myself, read the words and realized the time is now to walk to God. To let go of all the times before where I tried, and it was shortlived. As a Christian I love the Lord. I grew up reading the bible, but it can be intimidating. However, this devotional is breaking things into bite size pieces.As I write in the book daily, my mind races. I re-read the words the following day, and smile. Why? It is because I am really getting it. This devotional has surprisingly become my flashlight. Reading the paragraphs, and journaling is my 1st step daily. It guides me to a passage in bible that I read. Doing both help me try to understand the overall message. Oftentimes it means reading several "chapters" in the bible. After that I read the 2 emailed devotionals. Finally, I reread my comments to determine how I can grow spiritually.This well written book/ journal/ devotional is a guide, pure and simple. An easy read, with commentary that stimulate your mind. It is a call to action, and a motivational resource as I begin my spiritual journey!

I wanted to start a new devotional and this one was recommended by a friend. Day 1 did not disappoint! Exactly what I needed for my daily time with God.

I’m on page 29 and only one of the devotions was completely irrelevant to me because I don’t have children. I still love this book because I rarely stick to anything for more than a week or two yet for 29 days straight now I’ve looked forward to reading/writing/reflecting in this book. Makes a great gift for mothers because it’s easy to fit into a busy lifestyle and helps you approach stressful situations with more gratitude, which is huge for me, even though I’m not a mom nor do I live a busy lifestyle.

Enjoyed reading this devotional. I was blessed by the daily encouragement and the prompts. May God continue to bless the author.

They say that joy is found through the practice of gratitude. This is an amazing book that reminds us to see the glass half full and to truly know that God is on our side! Every devotional tells a story and asks great questions that help you reflect on your own life. I love the daily scriptures, prayers and exercises. It is also beautifully designed and colorful! I highly recommend this book if you want to nourish your soul!

This was an amazing daily devotional. I do it as a part of my morning rituals and it has help me realize my purpose and has allowed me to fulfill my passion. It has kept God at the center and at the focus and has been a blessing daily as He uses the authors words and experiences to give hope and guidance.
