Ordered two of those, not a straight edge

You have to have a little prowess in "plumb and square" to make these work well, but I hung two homemade murphy doors that just make the kitchen. The doors themselves are shelving units that are heavy and substantial, yet glide perfectly on these hinges. They did exactly what I needed them to do. The only negative is that they are a bit thick, so the gap on the top of the door is always at least 1/8" and less if your floor is not perfectly level. Overall, quite nice.

Without prior experience with similar product the instructions are of little use. They package came crushed with everything loose in the bag. However after getting things figured out the door opens and closes I recessed both bottom and top hinges and gave the door 1/8 clearance top and 3/16 at the bottom. It seems to be working good the door is fairly heavy and hangs straight. But time will tell

Bought for an exterior privacy wall/gate. Gate is constructed of 2x4 slats which are 8 feet tall. The gate was far too heavy to use even conventional 4" heavy duty hinges without eventually sag and rubbing on frame of gate. Using a stainless braided "sag adjuster" cable was out of the question. Too ugly for this beautiful gate. This center hinge with ball bearing pivot was/is the perfect solution. Super easy to install and adjust. Silky smooth rotation. Nice fit and finish on all pieces. Highly recommend.

Worked great for me to build a hidden closet.
