### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Essential for proper Piña Coladas, rich and authentic flavour
*by B***R on May 13, 2026*

I picked this up specifically for making Piña Coladas at home, and it really does make a noticeable difference compared to generic coconut syrups or substitutes. The texture is thick and creamy, and it blends well once shaken or mixed properly. When used with pineapple juice and rum, it gives that classic bar-style flavour you’d expect from a proper Piña Colada. It’s quite rich, so a little goes a long way, and it definitely feels more like a dessert ingredient than a light mixer. What I liked: ✔ Authentic, rich coconut flavour ✔ Thick and creamy consistency ✔ Works perfectly in Piña Coladas and desserts ✔ A little goes a long way What could be better: ✖ Quite sweet, so not for everyone ✖ Needs a good shake or stir before use ✖ Can be heavy if used in large amounts This is ideal if you want to recreate proper cocktails at home rather than using watered-down alternatives. It’s especially good for occasional drinks or entertaining. Overall, a key ingredient if you want a genuine Piña Colada flavour rather than a simplified version.
