This is a 2 min install. It is a disposable air filter, consequently it will last as long as its environment allows.

It didn't come in the usual box.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: It looks like the right filter, has a few marks on it, but otherwise clean. It came in a bag instead of an ACDelco box which has me wonder if its new, or used,...like someone opened it, but then returned it?

These worked perfectly and I believe they're the original manufacturers of the filters used on of these vehicles. I've never had any problems with mine and I recommend this product and this seller.

Truthfully I had zero idea of the importance of Air Filter itself in vehicle operation. I have never had an interest in tools as in High School I was a Junior Deputy and ROTC ... I have told women in my very early 20s, that if you are going to hand me a screw driver it had better have Vodka in it. I had " Fault " codes for both Oxygen Sensors ... drop in Performance ( Z-28 ) the A/C was icing up under the hood and car was running rough with Misfires ... I was told by a friend of a friend to look at the Filter. Replaced it, very simple to do and ... all ... was fixed immediately, as well as other unknown to me problems I'm sure

Had a reoccurring Check Engine light problem with '02 Camaro and code reader suggested 'left bank lean.' Mentioned to Ford dealer (regarding my wife's Escape) and he suggested changing air filter. It did not look that bad and after replacement with above A917C filter it was still there - but after driving a short while it disappeared and has remained off ever since!

Good fit on my z06 2001.Shipping box look ok,but the ac delco package,inside,was badly damaged by water or rain,i suppose?...The filter seem's in good shape,after all.
