Works in tight places. I've had no problems with the teeth... I've never needed the top hex for anything though. Comes in handy at times.

Get's the job done but teeth do not hold nut well. You need a lot of pressure to grab the nut securely.

Couldn’t really lower the action in my Les Paul. The teeth aren’t big enough. Kept slipping off.
