I enjoyed it just that much.As a long-time fan of this author's work; I can attest to the fact that her stories are ALWAYS full of God's WORD. Scriptures quoted are aptly interwoven into the storyline giving readers Christian fiction at it's best. Redeeming Heart; Landon and Octavia meet under unusual circumstances and as the story progresses, you know it's a "God thing". Their love relationship is not just by chance.A story of repentance, redemption and listening for the voice of the Lord; Redeeming Heart is an encouraging book for Christian men who have fallen from grace and Christian women who are waiting on God for a mate.There are lessons learned, mainly that God's grace is sufficient but also that material possessions can disappear with a blink of an eye.Octavia saw Landon through God's eyes; despite what others saw and by being obedient to the voice of the Lord, she was truly blessed in her life.With faith, He will give you the desires of your heart.Thank you Pat Simmons for a wonderful novel. I read this book in one sitting!

This book is about reconciliation, forgiveness, love, deliverance, this is why l appreciate Mrs. Simmons books so much, there's ALWAYS a message on God's love, He can delivered you from the crack house to the white house, from being homeless to working at a fortune 500 Corporation, when Landon pride took him from riches to rags, and all the pain he's caused them he asked God forgiveness can't nobody humbled you liked the Lord. But when Landon cousin Garrett whom Landon slept with his fiancee and impregnate her with twins, met him at the airport to greet him and forgave him I cried, plus the others woman's he hurt, but God, if you've been hurt, this is the book, if you been betrayed this is the book, if, you walked away from the Lord th u s is the book. Octavia is a Godly woman whom God blessed Landon with and Minster Rossi, from ( Crowning Glory) book, to be that example of a true friend and man of God. Great job. Pat Simmons, can't wait for the sequel in Crowning Glory 2, Octavia told Landon that Minster Rossi already had a love in his life but hadn't told her yet, so I know its. Theresa Cartwright Lands

I always enjoy Pat Simmons books and again she did not disappoint. What a good story on God's grace and mercy. It became real when reading Landon's story. I don't know if most of us can be as forgiving, accepting and supportive as Octavia and Minister Rossi were. That left me reflecting on forgiveness as a Christian. I love the character development and the maturity in their Christian walk. It is becoming very rare to get books that reflect true and deep Christianity and show characters dealing with real life situations and their flaws in a godly manner and truly depending on God for every aspect of their lives. I really appreciate the fact that authors such as Pat are not afraid to show Christians who try live by the Word on all fronts. The only thing that marred the story a bit were the few typos in the book requiring bit tighter proof reading. Otherwise, another best seller from Pat Simmons. I look forward to the next installment in the Carmen Sister series.

Pat Simmons has done it again. Redeeming Heart tells a beautiful story of God's love, His redemption plan, His desire that none perish, forgiveness, deliverance, true love........ Landon Thomas had it all; raised in a God fearing family he forsook his upbringing, walked away from God and chose a selfish path that led to destruction leaving in its wake hurt, pain and ultimately downfall. But God had a plan of His own, and in His inimitable set the wheels in motion to bring Landon back to Himself. This story reminds us that even though we fall down, we can always get back up again.This was definitely a page turner for me....I laughed, cried, got angry and rejoiced with Landon and Octavia. I highly recommend this. Thank you, Ms. Simmons and I anxiously await for the next book.Jacqueline White

What can I say that hasn't been said before about the writing gifts the Mrs. Pat Simmons. She has been anointed to use her God given talents, bringing characters to life as she weaves in scriptures and messages applicable to her readers everyday existence. I am always amazed at myself when I have to remind myself that "this is just a story". While reading the novel In Defense of Love, I found myself praying for Landon because of his actions... Redeeming Hearts, the story of Landon and Octavia had me in praise and worship mode. I was so reminded of Psalm 107: 1-9 pertaining to Landon while reading Redeeming Hearts. Octavia's conviction to remain steadfast in who she desired as a mate certainly surprised her in who He had chosen for her but we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. [Romans 8:28] Perhaps Minister Rossi Tolliver story will come about soon! Loved the story, loved the messages and I am excited for whatever will be brought forth next.

Landon was definitely "a man after GOD's own heart" like David in the Holy Bible; after all that he had done GOD blessed him above and beyond what he could have even imagined. Octavia is definitely my Shero (female hero) for her display of love for Landon. I loved the way Octavia, Rossi, Levi and others boarded a plan and followed him back home to make everything right there. Oh what love!! I truly enjoyed Redeeming Heart and look forward to viewing it on a movie screen soon.

Redeeming Heart is truly the heartfelt story of Landon Thomas (the prodigal son) and Octavia Winston( the devout Christian)! I read this book in two days. Reading this book relaxed me and the Scriptures that were strategically placed really ministered to my heart. On top of that, this was an incredible romance story. What would happen if you lost all you had to find what you needed? This was an awesome story filled with life's trial and God's unwavering love.
