I wish the cutter was adjustable. Thing is if you have nice thick cobb sit does work well. If they are THIN, you lose about 3 inches of cobb before it cuts. All in all as a cutter for using to do a LOT of cobbs works ok. There is another that you use like a type of almost potato type skinner works and cuts real nicely. BUT WARNING!! If you don't use a knife to cut a LOT PLEASE USE a NICE GLOVE or you will be cutting of a layer of skin. Remember that is NOT THIS cutter but another I will be rating.

Great product works amazing!
This is a very nice and very sturdy. It is made entirely of steel so it will not break while using and it works great. I bought it for a family member and he loves it and uses all the time. He use to have to take a knife and cut the corn off the cob and it would take a little while to take care of but with this it is just one push and all the corn is off the cob. Great product I would buy again and recommend to others.

lost confidence
i sell shave corn at a flee market, at first i thought it would be a great tool for my business, nice built, stainless steel, and seem sturdy, but after a while of using it, the middle holding part broke and made this tool unuseful, so i asked for a return, two days later i had a new one at my door, all that was great, but with the experience of the first one, im almost certain that with heavy use it will break again, and would need to replace it. I wanted a refund to buy another brand, but i was issued a replacement. I just hope this one last longer than my first one.

Broke on it's first use!
I purchased a stainless steel Corn kernel removing tool because I put up a lot of corn in the summer. I "assumed" that stainless steel would be better but this device BROKE on the first use! That was only after 8 ears of corn. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I'm trying another brand that is plastic. Thanks.

It broke after the 3rd corn cob!
The item broke after the 3rd corn cob! The spot weld that holds the cutter to the inner part of the cylinder are not sufficient enough for the stress it takes while in use. If that was fixed it would be a good tool. The word durable in the description is false!!!Complete waste of money.

Great Cleaner
I use it on Corn on the Cob that is cooked. It strips the kernels off completely. Does a great job.

Does not work on all sizes of cobs.
Hard to push larger cobs through the one size cutter. Large cobs will not work. Small cobs slide through.

Best product to get corn off the cob !
I have been looking at a variety of brands/ models. I am so very pleased with my selection. I did 4 ears of corn in about 90 seconds. Very sturdy No wasted corn. Today I bought a dozen ears and have no trepidation about the tedium of using a knife
