Mekakucity Records

If you, like me, found out about Jin's Kagerou Project series way later than the rest of the internet, they're basically a series of connected songs that tell a story, a little like the Servant of Evil series or Deco*27's Love Calendar album. The songs are all sung by Vocaloids IA and Hatsune Miku, but characters in the story are Jin's original creations, not Vocaloid characters. A lot of the songs will be easier to understand if you watch the music videos for them on Youtube first. Also be aware that the track order on the albums isn't the chronological order of the events in the series, though you don't necessarily have to pay attention to or understand the plot to enjoy the songs. There is a Kagerou Project wiki, that should be able to help you. If you want to know more about the story than the songs tell you, there are light novels and a manga, and a TV anime will be released soon, as well.Mekakucity Records is the second album of the series, so if you're curious about the story, buy Mekakucitydays first. That said, Mekakucity Records has some of my personal favorite songs on it, including "Children Record," which is basically the Kagerou Project theme song and is a nice mix of rock and techno. Like Mekakucitydays, the album is a mixture of genres. "Yobanashi Decieve" is quite fun and jazzy, "Yuukei Yesterday" is solid, upbeat pop, "Outer Science" is fast-paced techno, ect. Those three, along with "Losstime Memory" and "Ayano no Kouhuku Reiron" are some of my favorite Kagerou Project songs, and show Jin's range--"Ayano no Kouhuku Reiron" and "Outer Science" don't sound at all like the same person wrote both. Like Mekakucitydays, this album also includes very competent use of both Hatsune Miku and IA. Overall, if you like Vocaloid or if you're specifically a fan of Jin's Kagerou Project, this album's pretty much a must.

If you heard the Mekakucity Days album of Jin, of course you will love this second part found here in Mekakucity Records. It keeps the same concept of the story-telling songs of the Kagerou Project. Consistent composition and execution into all songs. And I can consider that this is the best work featuring vocaloid IA until date, at the same level as the Days album. Highly recommended.

There is a small tear on the CD's cover, but I believe that was my fault because I opened the package somewhat carelessly! The cardboard cover of the package was very thick, so I'm sure no moisture came into the CD although it was raining!

Ha llegado en muy buen estado. Imprescindible para cualquier fan de Kagerou Project.

「カゲプロ」というのは以前から知っていたのですが、メカクシティアクターズを見てからすっかりはまり、迷うことなく購入しました。チルドレンレコードから始まってサマータイムレコードで終わっているので、１つの物語としてうまくまとまっていると思います。音も悪くないし、ＩＡの声も綺麗で何度もリピートして聴いています。ロスタイムメモリーのようなギターがかっこいい曲や、群青レインのような静かですっと耳に入ってくるような音楽など本当にさまざまな種類があって楽しめます。13曲と普通のＣＤに比べたら曲数はやや少ないけれどそれでも大満足でした。

娘の為に購入。安くて状態の良い物が買えました。発送も早かったですね。朝から晩まで聞いてます。

メカクシティレコーズ、気に入りました。思った通りの商品でした。
