Wireless Lavalier Microphone (AT831)

Pros:Ultra clear signal with phantom power. Professional quality for a bargain.Con:Noise handling is sensitive. If you plan to hide this mic in the talent's clothes, forget it. The slightest move will cause rustling. This mic is intended to be exposed like a newscaster.I will eventually buy more since I am making a talk show indoors. I plug it into the Tascam DP-24 Channel recorder. It sounds like a dream.

I've been using this baby for video interviews for over a year now. I cannot say enough about how fantastic the audio quality of this mic is at this price point or any other price point for that matter. The highs are very crisp and the lows and mids are just perfect.If you are videographer looking to put that final pro touch on your latest production, look no more. You cannot beat this mic for under 200 bucks.

This is my second Audio-Technica AT831B Lavalier Condenser Microphone. I use it when I play my accoustic Flamenco Guitar and it is just so wonderful and convenient to dispense with the regular, bulky mike.

This microphone is best suited for interview videos where you are not worried about the audience seeing a small mic clipped on the shirt. It also works well for acoustic guitar as it includes an instrument clip. Personally I love this microphone and run it into a Zoom H4n recorder for my video production projects.

with such a high priced mic, you'd expect the quality to be superb - it's not. this is a piece of crap that doesn't even sound good

I never was expecting such a clear and powerful sound from a microphone this small. Delivery time was prompt and exactly what it says in the description. Well worth the money.

L'ho comprato per amplificare una Gitane DG300 con la bocca ovale stile Gipsy Jazz e il suono è bellissimo.Lo uso anche per fare interviste. Solo che ho fatto poche prove ma prende troppo ambiente e poca voce a prima impressione.Per la chitarra comunque è meraviglioso.
