If you have an older Land Rover, you can swap your key and electronics to the new fob. much less expensive and straight forward than other options. mine is 2001! if key is worn, cutting new key may not work.

Whoever manufactured these made an EXACT copy of the original key housing. I was able to remove my original key from the original housing and insert the old key perfectly into the new housing. No need to get the new key blank cut. Of course electronic transmitter fit perfectly as well. 1000% pleased with these!

5 stars for sure. You can see the condition of my original key. My local hardware store was able to cut the new blank without any issue whatsoever. I transferred over the guts from my old fob into this one, and voila.

Needed to file them down to fit my ignition barrel. Work perfectly now, but don't expect to have to modify the key.
