The straps that came with my tow dolly were strong enough, but due to the size of the car I put on the tow dolly they were not staying in place no matter how much I tightened them down. Because of the design of these straps they are staying on more securely and I worry a lot less about towing now. I still check them often as you should, but I have great confidence in these.

I've used those single-hook straps for years. They worked find, but I felt like I was always messing with them to get them snug on the tire. These straps have the two hooks in the back which makes it SUPER easy to hook up. It easily cut my strap-time in half. Love these, and would buy them again in a heart beat. One thing of note. We had the outside hook come loose somehow, which shouldn't have been a problem, however, because it's positioned far to the outside, it's REALLY close to the dolly tire. Welllll, when it came loose, it swung out and got caught up in my dolly tire and within seconds cut the side wall of my tire open like a tuna can. Instant flat. This wasn't the strap's fault, and I'm not sure how it came loose, but from that point on I connected one of those really small bungee cords between the two rear hooks (there's a little hole in each one). This way, if the strap comes loose again, it will be pulled away from the tire. No problems since, but worth noting.

Real thick and strong a quality strap

It’s important to get the correct size for your wheels. This one has one fixed cross band and one that can be positioned. This means it can also slip.

I replaced the worn straps on my tow dolly. These straps didn’t seem as thick or as stout as my old straps. I was within a couple of days of leaving on a 2500 mi trip on the RV towing A Chrysler town and country minivan on the dolly, I went with these new straps, but brought the old ones just in case. The straps worked incredibly well, I checked them after about 25 miles, and snugged them up, assuming a little stretch because of being new. Afterwards I rechecked the straps at every stop during the trip, didn’t have to adjust them again, they held the van wheels tight for the whole 2500mi, I am impressed, I actually didn’t expect this good of performance from these straps when I first got them!

They fit the 17" wheels of my '24 Maverick just fine & are easy to hook up and remove.

This product was delivered very quickly. It is of good quality. We used it to secure our van onto a trailer to tow it home over two days travel. The straps did not move and our van was safe for the entire trip.

Durable

Not much can be improved upon these straps. Very nicely stitched, fit our toad’s 15” wheels beautifully, don’t slip, and they’re yellow. (At least for now). Definitely recommend these babies.
