Oliva Olive Oil Soap 125g Pack of 3

I used to make my own hot-process olive oil soap from scratch to avoid all the chemicals added to commercial soap. Nice to do but can be tricky and it's best to wait around a month for it to cure before using. I've tried a few 'natural' soaps recently but found that they caused my skin to itch so was pleased to find this one. It's really lovely, stays in a firm block on a wooden slatted soap holder after use and no more itching - just a nice nourishing feeling to my skin. Some people have mentioned that they don't like the smell. It's just natural from the ingredients used and is absolutely fine. Also, some folk may be disappointed in the amount of lather produced. I learned from my soap making that some oils which are used to produce a lot of lather, such as coconut, can have a drying effect on some skin types. Additionally, more lather doesn't equate to more cleaning power - this is a myth you see with washing up liquid too!! No more trials, this is my go-to soap from now on!

Do you know how many soap bars have coconut in? When you're allergic you realise it's a lotm but these are great! Just 3 ingredients and nothing dodgy. Works well, smells nice yet subtle and leaves you feeling clean. My new regular soap bar!

Love this soap and don't use any other on my body. Gentle, lathers well and great for sensitive skin.

Great product, reliable, have used before

After becoming suddenly allergic to fragrance and some chemicals in the usual brands of body wash and soap, I researched more natural alternatives. One recommendation was to use Olive Oil Soap. This was the first one I tried, and I love it! My whole family use it now. It leaves your skin so soft, has zero artificial smell, bubbles into a nice lather and lasts for ages. I wish I had found it ages ago!

This was recommended as being pure soap and it is quite nice but not as silky as some I've had and I really don't like the smell, which is slightly dull and earthy a bit like oil thats gone a bit off. I stopped using it on my face and we are only using it to wash hands now. I have given one bar away.
