I made it home, cleaned the cutter and potatoes. My heart was full and tears of absolute joy were streaming down my cheeks. I placed the potato on the cutter, put cover over and pushed, it was hard to push, so I added more power. A loud snap changed my world. My brand new fry cutter (that felt like I went through a quest to obtain) broke the very 1st time I used it. Its kinda like a metaphor about my heart and spirit right now. It is extremely hard to force a potato through the blades.
