Great item. I use it between my mini tripod and my selfie stick when doing 360⁰ virtual tour images. Keeps the mini tripod sturdy

Perfect quality & strong.
Really good quality and strong. Acts as a great counter weight. I purchased this to use with another product and unfortunately it didn't suit my particular application and was subsequently returned. However, the quality and robustness is great & I would definitely purchase this again should I require this type of counter weight in the future.

Simple and effective
You cannot go wrong with this really. Just screw it into your gimbal or cage and it acts as an effective counterweight to help stabilise your video work. I have placed it on the top handle at the rear of my smallrig black mamba cage to help balance out the natural forward tilt when using the S5IIX with a lens. It's not rocket science, but it works.

this is the same screw as your DSLR camera and tripod uses
i got this to sit between the 3 legged base and monopod I have for my 360 camera to give a bit of weight at the foot of the stand.. 200g is enough for Insta360 One X and makes the whole thing more stable. The weight can sit between a regular tripod and camera - with a screw hole in one side to attach to a tripod and a thread at the other end to screw into your camera.. surprisingly useful considering it's just a lump of metal.. dunno what the gimbal thing's about - I don't have one with screws and balancing weights on it..

Excellent for fine balancing astronomical telescopes
These SMALLRIG counterweights are perfect for fine adjustments to the balancing of my astronomical refractor telescope.The tube mounting rings for these telescopes often have the standard 1/4 camera screw thread on the side-to enable a camera to be attached.These counterweights can be simply screwed on and even stacked by screwing one onto another.They are also very well finished.

Brilliant!
Using this dovetail clamp that these weights screw into as a Declination counterweight for a telescope on an equatorial mount, Boy these things are fabulous, this is the 200g in the image, just ordered a 100g too, bblown away with the great quality and finish. Very highly recommended indeed!

Der Preis ist mindestens doppelt so hoch, wie er sein sollte.
Gutes Gegengewicht, verwendet mit Canon 5D Mark IV + vertikaler Halterung + EF 17-40 mm + Zhiyun Weebill S + GoPro 11 mini. Zusätzlich habe ich zwei eigene Gewichte à 25 g genutzt. Die Balance war hervorragend. Die Qualität ist gut. Aber der Preis für ein 100 g schweres Stück Metall mit minimalen Produktionskosten erscheint mir übertrieben. Der Wunsch des Herstellers, so viel daran zu verdienen, ist für mich nicht akzeptabel. Im Grunde ist es einfach eine Edelstahl-Schraube, die auf jeder Drehbank gefertigt werden kann.

Ottimo prodotto, equilibra perfettamente la piastra adattatore Pgytech per GoPro Hero 7 che uso per il mio gimbal Feiyutech Vlog Pocket. Si monta direttamente sul lato inferiore destro della piastra.

Bonne qualité
Acheté pour rajouter un peu de poids sur un télescope afin d'avoir un équilibrage parfait lorsque une tête binoculaire est montée. Fait très bien son office, pas de vis kodak se fixant parfaitement sur le contrepoids d'un kilo déjà installé. Belle finition, article sérieux.

petits poids à visser pour équilibrer le rig
Smallrig propose 2 versions de ces petits poids à visser, 100 et 200g ils se vissent avec un pas Kodak 1/4'', et ont un un pas kodak femelle au dos, ce qui permet de les empiler selon les besoins, ou pour les ranger un bon grip sur le tour permet de bien les attacher ces petits poids vont servir à équilibrer votre caméra, par exemple sur une gimbal (Zhiyun Crane, Ronin-S), ou bien même sur un petit glide cam voir un steadycam ! en gros si vous n'arrivez pas à équilibrer votre rig, et que vous arrivez en butée sur tel ou tel axe, vous pouvez les utiliser pour faire contrepoids. Ils se vissent soit directement sur la cage de votre appareil (GH5, A7S, X-T3, 5D, etc selon votre config) soit par exemple sur une baseplate dédiée que smallrig fabrique , la 2277 pour le Zhiyun Crane, ou la 2308 pour Ronin-s (comme sur la photo), ou bien sur la petite pince 2274 prévue à cet effet, ou même simplement sur un nano clamp
